I get severe headaches far too frequently and they make being conscious pretty awful.

I'd give up most things except (not listing obvious things like food, air, sleep):

I don't really know to be honest. But for whatever reason, I've got permanently tight shoulder/neck muscles, which pinch the nerves in my head giving me near constant headaches. I've been meaning to get it looked into properly at some point in the near future.

They don't go away with a muscle relaxer and two vicodins.

No medication has ever alleviated the pain, otherwise, I wouldn't give up much and I'd just take that medication.

I have a light headache right now and I was wondering just a moment ago what brought it on.

But I hate headaches so much, so for the topic... ehh... maybe quite a bit. But tylenol works pretty well for me so I wouldn't give up anything too big either.

they're so awful, especially when you get them when you have something to do. like i got one on my way to work the other night and my boss was all whiny cause i had to spend an hour in a dark room before i could do anything, ranting about how it's "just a headache"

people who don't get them reaaaaallly don't understand just how horrible they are. i usually get them right above my eyes and sometimes my vision goes completely. it's scary!

I don't give a f*** about anyone/their opinion when I have one though.

I will not work or do anything when I have a migraine.

I have walked out of two different jobs while my boss was telling me that they needed me to tough it out.

I didn't get fired but yeah they have clearly never had one and they deserve to be hurt for trying to make me stay.

yeah i've called out a few times and my boss talked a whole lotta ****, saying i'm a little young to be getting them

i was all *****, migraines know no age limit and a few of my coworkers backed me up and now he doesn't whine as much anymore.

lack of sleep is one of my triggers and i came close to punching one of my friends in the face when she flipped on me cause i didn't wanna go out the night before i had to be up early. she was mocking me and i reaaaally came close to just attacking her cause she has no clue how bad it is. plus she whines about literally everything else in her life so it's pretty hypocritical and now i'm just rambling so bleh

I can't really think of a dollar amount at the moment, but I would probably pay a decent amount. I get headaches semi-frequently and they can really screw up my day.

EDIT: Plus, my father used to suffer from cluster headaches, which means that my chances are elevated. I would do ANYTHING to avoid that s***.

Yeah I can't imagine that s***.

My aunt supposedly got migraines 4-5 times a month for about 10 years.

Pretty sure I'd pull out The Ultimate Suicide is this happened to me.

eh i usually get the wooziness (thankfully i never get sick to my stomach) too. i'm talking about seeing weird blotches on stuff and things being the wrong color and all that nonsense. it's really not fun but it's good to get some sort of warning to know when i'm going to be knocked out of commission for a bit.

plus seeing things different colors is kinda fun haha

I get a headache that I feel the need to take advil for about once a year. So... I dunno, I guess like 50 bucks. I dunno, I just never get bad headaches. I get kidney stones instead so it's not like I'm lucky over here though.

No I never see anything weird but yeah I can see how it'd be lame but kind of helpful.

The worst thing about vomiting with them is it's like a 50/50 split as to whether the vomiting will help/hurt the pain.

About half the time, it gives me a slight euphoric feeling (the pain doesn't go away but it is drastically reduced).

The other half it makes the migraine so much worse that tears just pour out. Not like crying (which I used to do when I got them as a child) but just flowing, watery eyes.

Tonight I had to decide if I was going to fight the vomiting or give in to it and hope that it helps.

I decided to fight it and I think it was the right decision.

Hmmmm, I get a mild headache that Tylenol can handle maybe once a month, but a few times a year it's actually really bad and ruins my whole day, but it's still fairly rare.

$100 or so is the most I would sacrifice.

Oh, man, this is a tough one. I'd love to be rid of my headaches. I get regular severe headaches that most of the time feel like someone is literally stabbing me in the brain. Usually they start at the front of my head behind my eyes and spread. And nothing seems to help with them. Bright lights and noises in general just make them worse, which makes working in a call center suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

Sometimes they feel like less like stabbing and more like a "womwomwomwomwom" throbbing pain. And I will literally hear that noise when they get like that, it's terrible. If I get them at night they sometimes cause other auditory hallicinations.

So yeah, I'd probably give up quite a bit to get rid of them.

NOTHING is worse than having a terrible migraine and finally winning the battle to fall asleep and then waking up 6-8 hours later and IT'S STILL THERE.

Fortunately that rarely happens.

It will usually be gone when I sleep that long but when it doesn't go away while I'm sleeping, it is the most soulcrushing feeling ever.

I'd give up taking aspirin.

As far as an actual sacrifice, I dunno. I don't get bad headaches often, which makes them that much more excruciating when I do.

They never go away when I sleep =(
