I can't remember him ever getting in an MS. Though I guess it isn't any stretch of the imagination that he'd have a special Zaku. Even though his title and duties were mostly ceremonial, I'm sure he had his own stuff.

Through 17 eps in G now. It's really on the fast track to being near the top of my Gundam series ranking. It's replaced all the terrible angst with hotblood, which brings up another point.

There's no problem that can't be solved with more hotblood. Which is awesome.

It really cracked me up when the ninja was revealed to be Neo Germany's fighter. But I guess Neo Japan can't have a samurai and a ninja Gundam.

And I did not remember Master Asia being evil. I think he gets better, but I'll just have to keep watching. Oh, and the narrator is great. Sorta reminds me of a more refined Mr. Referee.

Ive been working on Wing as well.

So far I have to say Duo is a BRO and is easily the easiest to cheer for of the bunch, but Wu Fei and Gatre and pretty great too.

Noin though has overtaken Nina Purpleton, Sayla, and Fa as TOP GUNDAM GIRL.

Seriously shes just awesome, and her romance with Zechs Marquise is pretty great.

I havent really been giving updates but Im at around ep 38.

Also I am taking advantage of a certain websites freeleech to obtain all of the Gundam I dont currently have and this is a great opportunity for anyone looking for massive amounts of Gundam.

I am also looking into the other works of Tomino, which Ill probably give my thoughts on here when I get around to them.

Victory analysis. So beware of spoilers!

Let me preface this by saying: I hate Shakti.

Great now that that's out of the way lets talk about the other people I hate. This show is filled with hypocrites. For the longest time I've hated Lupe. The first time she opened her mouth "WHAT WHY IS THAT PCST HELPING THE LEEGA MELEETEAAH?" I facepalmed. Well no ****, you are the invaders taking over their homeland. Why are you so surprised? And not to mention the PCST remained neutral and it was all a LM plot to get to Arti Gibraltar. She did redeem herself in the end though, with that bath and the fact that she killed off Mr. Bad Haircut.

Now onto the Char clone. What can I say? He didn't get enough screen time, so his motivation and ambition is vague at best. What drove him to do what he did? Like how the hell are you NOT SATISFIED with being the Queen's brother and leading a goddamn fleet of badass motorcycle spaceships? "I must get Angel Halo to kill Kagatie and Tassilo. I do this because I am the Queen's brother so I can take the throne." Like that was all he said during the ending. WHY? Are you trying to save your sister by kidnapping and abusing her daughter for your own needs? WHAT THE ****?

Katejina Loos. I understood her, well maybe. She was jealous of Shakti? But since when? When she was introduced, she didn't seem to mind Shakti. She was just concerned that the LM was using Uso. She wasn't converted just yet, I guess she was just disgusted with them for using children to fight in their wars. Was she charmed by the Queen's brother? I never got that vibe from her. She claims she loved the Char clone, but it was never shown. I think she subconsciously went to the Char clone because she knew Uso was taken by Shakti already. That is why she couldn't kill Uso every time she caught him. I think somewhere in that messed up head she truly cared for Uso.

Shakti Kareen. The single worst Gundam female in existence. Odelo. Uso's parents. Gomez. Romero. Otis. Leonid. And the entire Shrike Team. Shakti, you killed them. **** you. Tomino WHY DIDN'T YOU KILL HER TOO? Shakti literally has the mental capacity of a mentally disabled infant. She deserved to be hated by Katejina. She deserved to be killed, but sadly didn't. Every ****ing time she went off to do things on impulse she got someone killed. And she wasn't sorry for it as evident by the fact she did it multiple times afterwards. NOW LETS GO BACK TO ANGEL HALO SO YOU CAN COME SAVE ME AND SACRIFICE THE ENTIRE FLEET TO SAVE MY WORTHLESS LIFE.

With that out of the way, Victory is still a masterpiece to me. It's grim and depressing, sure there are too many deaths and that might lessen their impacts, but lets look at it this way: This is meant to be a children's cartoon show. Victory makes Zeta look like a Saturday morning cartoon for preschoolers. Remember this, Uso fights out of FEAR. He fights for his life. He doesn't fight for honor or fame or love. He is fundamentally different from Amuro/Kamille/Judau. That is what makes Victory grim, because if Uso failed he gets vaporized, or worse, his head gets chopped off by the guillotine.

Uso is a genius mobile suit pilot. He's very creative, and reckless. I would put him above Kamille in terms of piloting skill. I think only CCA Amuro and Char would be able to beat him in a straight fight. Sure he didn't seem impressive during the show, but he's still young. The fact he picked up a Gundam one day and overthrew the Zanscare empire in a year's time defeating multiple Newtypes (not particularly strong ones, but they are at least formidable) should say a lot about his skill. I think the strongest Newtype in the show is Karlmann >_> that kid is gonna grow up to be the greatest Newtype, and the great thing is he gets the chance!

Regarding Katejina, I guess some people really hate her. Out of everyone she seemed to have the most convincing heel turn. As you said, she started flipping when she got upset LM was using children as soldiers. I do believe she was charmed by Cronicle. I mean, he did save her from being molested. I'm sure at first she truly did believe she was going in with the intention of being a spy. But as time passed, she became more and more sympathetic towards Zanscare. Partly this is because she became terrified of Uso's power

I guess she could have been charmed. But I got that feeling during the last 2 episodes that she was using him more than anything. I think she wanted to use him to end wars so kids like Uso wouldn't suffer, though she went about it in a very twisted way. I also got the impression she went with the Char clone at first intending to be a spy, but probably decided all these people were idiots that could be used >_>

Because seriously, the Queen's brother had a train of thought like this : "I am the Queen's brother, so I should take over. I'm gonna defeat the Gundam so people recognize my power!" Katejina's heel turn was at least logical! I refuse to call that man by his name because he's the worst Char clone of all time. The worst.

Playing that Gundam MMO got me wanting to watch again so I marathoned 8th MS Team and continued Zeta Gundam. One thing that's crushing me is these main characters who're completely oblivious to women's feelings. They only get women when the women are practically throwing themselves at them. Anyway 8th MS was awesome. Last 3 episodes (not counting 12) had me at the edge the entire time. Climax felt lacking though. Had a serious "That's it?" feeling. As for Zeta, well it's cool except for the stupid ball that gets passed to someone every episode. Really starting to make me wish people would die just so they could stop thinking it's okay. Ohh wait that did happen and Scirocco congratulated Jared for it. Speaking of Scirocco, dude is the ultimate creep. Guy thinks he's much more charming then he is. Also calm Kammile is way too passive. Sure he's less painful to watch but now he just feels like he's getting walked on. Nice to know Four had a good effect on him though. I liked her. Up to episode 27. Taking a nap because as usual Zeta Gundam makes me tired.

New AGE was pretty good, but it was another development episode. Hopefully next week is 22 minutes of action and newtype hax.

And I finished G Gundam. Extremely well done. The plot twists came out of nowhere but where believable; Hurricane Gundams mark 2 through 40 were hilarious. The blind assassin sounded familiar- turns out he also voiced Quattro in Zeta, although that's pretty much the only other VA role he's had.

I'd probably have to go 08th MS Team > G Gundam > Gundam IGLOO for my top 3.

Very tense episode. The confrontation between Chocolate Bar Man and Grodek AiNoa was pretty cool. Like two men playing chess or something.
