Oh cool. I was almost certain this would end badly because of this ep's edit, what with Probst doing his damned best to talk Ozzy out of it. Hell you could practically see the moment Probst lost his boner onscreen.

I think based on the edit ozzy isn't winning unless this episode marks a huge turnaround, but I also thought this episode pointed to Ozzy's plan working, at least the part about him winning on RI. In the preview the scenes being about "what if ozzy comes back what will cochran do" point to ozzy winning rather than "what if christine comes back". I actually kinda like his plan too on some level, it is a major risk but it takes balls, it shows he is there to win, not just to be on the jury again. But man, I just really don't think he has it in him to turn his game around.

Perhaps they feel like she either might be faking it, might begrudgingly side with them anyway, or they are afraid that if they send Cochran and he actually wins, he would then flip to Upolu.

Man, I just started to kind of root for Christine this past episode. It's kind of like, you made it through so many duels on Redemption Island, only to have to go up against Ozzy and most likely lose? That really sucks. Plus I think Ozzy is an annoying hipster douche with very little social game.
I will admit though that his move was gutsy. I guess on your third game it's time to do or die and make the big game changing moves though.

Coach is looking good to get far into the merge I think. I can really see him at final trial at this point. Maybe sitting with Edna and Brandon? We'll see. Glad Upolu won though.

My current train of thought is that Ozzy comes back and Edna flops, Upolu being taken out one my one at the merge. Both her outs with the alliance and Albert's suspicion that she might not be quite as loyal as she seems make me think that.

I can see the logic in that, but I'm not sure if Edna is underhanded enough to pull that off. Especially judging by her horrible lying skills. I see her as being loyal to Coach to the end, especially since that's the way she has been portrayed throughout the season so far. She's had at least a couple conversations with Coach about how they're a good team and she's totally loyal etc. And if I were Coach I'd think it would be a little silly to ever get rid of her. Totally loyal, hard worker, but pretty useless. Even though I love her.
No way they'd give her the million at final tribal. At least at this point, who knows what post-merge will bring.

I think if anyone is going to flip, it will be either Edna or Cochran. But it is also likely that one side just correctly plays the idol, or that Brandon ****s things up by being an idiot, etc. pretty much anything can happen, which is why merge episodes are so good.

The funny thing I noticed about Sophie was that, because of the water smearing her war paint, every time they showed a clip of her after winning the challenge, she looked like the McPoyle sister from It's Always Sunny. That, or Frida Kahlo.
