with the rocks, cochran had a 1/6 chance of going home in like 12th place

by flipping he is like a guaranteed final 3 goat

considering how much he loves survivor I am sure getting to the end is more important to him than winning, he is a lawyer after all, he isn't gonna be poor.

1/7 chance with the rocks, given Rick/Keith/Whitney/Dawn/Ozzy were all immune. Nonetheless it would have only been him and Jim that would stand a chance at going, which is pretty slim odds. I'd have taken it.

Well, if Savai'i continues to be picked off, most of the people he pissed off wouldn't be on the jury anyways. I like the move. Drawing rocks is silly. I'd never bank on not going home on complete chance.

that was awesome. I really didn't know how that tribal would go with all of the talk of flipping and idols and Cochran back-and-forth info... butI wanted Keith out the most and it happened. Even though Cochran had no choice but to confess, it took balls to just turned around and be all "yeah it was me and I'll explain later." Also XD at Brandon's "don't talk to him like that!" and "Stay close to me"

awesome episode imo.

I don't think Savaii is going to get picked off. Maybe Jim and Whitney (probably Whitney) but Cochran will be way more hesitant to vote out Ozzy, and there's literally no way that he lets Dawn go out without a fight.

I doubt it will be a pagonging like last season, cochran is a snake, and upolu has people like albert and sophie who I could see wanting to make moves, also brandon is unpredictable and edna knows she is on the outs.....but Whitney, based on her edit, probably goes soon. Logically it makes no sense that she would go over ozzy/jim, but she just doesn't seem like someone who makes it far.

Thoughts of this episode

-This was one of the most lopsided edited episode ever.
-lol Te Tuna
-Rick's facial expressions at tribal were awesome
-Keith's comments to Cochran before they merged were very douchey
-Brandon was actually good tonight
-I love Coach when he's not spewing God stuff
-Dawn can twist it anyway she wants but the only reason she decided not to flip was because she won immunity
-If I was ever on survivor I would never draw rocks, it's just to damn risky.
-Cochran's move was satisfying to watch but I don't think it was the best move to make.
-Like somebody said the amount of butt hurt next episode is going to be so unbearable

Of course. But game logic dictates that your opponent will try to outsmart you, meaning they will go for the 'not so obvious' move and do that instead. It's less obvious for Upolu to target Whitney over Keith or Jim. On a basic level it makes the most sense to take out the strongest. Savaii then assumed that because Whitney is the least likely to be targeted, that she would then be the most likely to be targeted - which is why they used the idol on her. It's the same basic logic that Parvati used in HvV when she gave her idols to Sandra and Jerri over herself. She knew that she was the obvious choice for the Heroes to vote out, and because of that she figured she wouldn't be targeted.

Upolu probably went one step further and went with the obvious route - vote out the strongest, Keith, because Savaii would expect them to target the less likely player in Whitney instead.

It's the whole "Wine in front of me" thing that gets brought up a lot in Mafia.

Also, I'm really not sure who's gonna win this season. I'm thinking it'll be an Upolu. Best contender is possibly Sophie.
