Albert and Sophie just wanted to make sure they merged with numbers and were worried about Edna being a blind coach follower. They aren't gonna turn on Coach over this. GJ Rick imo, edna is awesome.

I'm sorry Mer... but after this episode my indifference to Cochran has grown to a mild like. The line about Ozzy acting like a b**** and "I'm a sparkling water person" won me over. Best lines of the episode.

yeah, I am starting to like cochran too. as long as his edit is just showing him making a couple funny jokes each episode and not him totally freaking out all the time like in the first episode, i am fine with him.

*MODERATE TOCANTINS, NICARAGUA, AND RI SPOILERS*

I don't understand the annoying ***** part. I've absolutely enjoyed her presence so far. She hasn't been painted negatively, we always see her helping around camp or getting lauded by Jeff in a tight challenge, and she isn't presented as eye candy (except in Hantz-vision). It's too bad her sole storyline was Brandon's craziness and demons from his past, and she had so many loser flags throughout the episode. "Alliance of five, she's outside the six." I feel like it's a downfall move.

Am I happy she's gone over Edna? I'd rather everyone suddenly turn on Brandon and kick him to the curb, but besides that, yeah. I like Edna. I'm not in love with her. She hasn't shown much scrap. She's pretty much the definition of coattail rider at this point. Will she be crafty? Well, yeah, she's got a great edit, but seriously. All she does it bow at the feet of Coach right now. The only difference between her and Boston Rob's zombies is that she's being painted as someone who will turn things around after the merge. And look what happened with Andrea.

But the pre-merge and post-merge hype levels rarely mean anything. The Exile Island alliance of Tocantins, Brenda the powerhouse in Nicaragua, Andrea/Phillip turnabout last season. It's definitely a lot more exciting this game with the extremely close challenges, ever-shifting alliances, and no completely positive edits, but I wasn't invested in the vote tonight at all.

Well, until Brandon was Brandon. Holy ****. Coach looked like his head was going to explode.
