When in Super Sonic form, Sonic's color turns from blue to golden, and his speed, normally faster than sound, massively increases, as well as granting him the ability to fly. He also becomes nigh-invulnerable to damage, and powerful enough to annihilate an entire army of alien beings in a short timespan.

(7) Majin Buu From Dragon Ball Z, Majin Buu is a being of mystical nature, who possesses complete control over his entire body, even if it is separated from himself, as well as super strength and speed. Buu can also absorb other beings and take their powers; even without doing this, Buu can easily mimic a fighting technique after seeing it only once. He can turn others into inanimate entities such as food or even clay. Buu can also regenerate from absurdly high levels of damage; only an attack that destroys every molecule of his being can defeat him permanently.

But yeah, this match can be pretty interesting, because Gohan Buu is Buu's top form and that one still has the 'good' side of Buu trapped within, doesn't it? If so, the match is going to turn into a double team ASAP.

OK, but Kid Buu (Buu's form when he is without Mr. Buu, as the good one is known) was shown to be vastly more powerful than Mr. Buu, and is the first and only being shown being capable of weakening said character.
Kid Buu's not as strong as Super Buu, but he's no pushover.

By the way, I think we should all be clear on our Buu forms here, and why it matters which one we're using.
This is Mr. Buu AND the first Majin Buu. The first Majin Buu is stronger than Mr. Buu, and Mr. Buu is a nice guy who will only protect his friends.
This is Pure Evil Buu, who Mr. Buu spit out to become a good guy. This one is stronger than Mr. Buu, but weaker than the first Majin Buu.
This is Super Buu, who is Pure Evil Buu after consuming Mr. Buu. He is stronger than all of the previous three.
This is Buutenks, Super Buu who has absorbed Piccolo and SSJ3 Gotenks. He is MUCH more powerful than the previous Buus.
This Buuhan, Super Buu with Piccolo, Kid Trunks, Goten and Ultimate Gohan absorbed. He is the most powerful villain in the history of DBZ, bar none.
This is Kid Buu. He is Buu's basic form. He is stronger than Mr. Buu, Pure Evil Buu, and (maybe) the first Majin Buu, but weaker than the rest.
Now, remember everybody, even if it is Buuhan we're using, Gohan, Trunks, Goten and Piccolo were all incapacitated after being released from Buu, and assuming this fight goes relatively quickly, they're not going to be any help.

Archie Super Sonic Buu let along most of the cast of DBZ do not really stand a chance against Archie comics Super Sonic he is a true beast. In just fighting with Hyper Knuckles the power of their punches against each other was enough to destroy the whole zone/world. Not to mention that Super Sonic is also a planet buster in his own right, when he was evil he was about to destroy two moons with his power but was forced to miss.

I think I gotta vote for Super Sonic. He was able to defeat Master Mogul, which... Sure, he had help, but Master Mogul is broken to the point where he could beat Buu with a snap of his fingers.

The only time Super Sonic fought Master Mogul was when he was also with Hyper Knuckles and Turbo Tails, and Mogul was only defeated then due to a bunch of divine intervention and deus ex machina. When Master Mogul makes a second appearance, he's a ton more powerful due to an imbalance in the Chaos Force - this is the time he's able to crush entire universes with his hands - and Super Sonic never fights him.
Doomsday Zone never happened in the comic, but he did fight the Biolizard briefly in the SA2 adaptation as Super Sonic, so he can breathe in space.
Problem is, it doesn't matter. Nothing Super Sonic can do is going to make a dent in Buu at all. Buu requires an attack powerful enough to destroy him down to the molecular level - when Buu himself blows up Earth, he's able to regenerate from that pretty quickly. Super Sonic attacks the same way regular Sonic does, via spindashes and melee strikes and such. We have no speed feats for Super Sonic other than "faster than regular Sonic," who himself has very minimal and inconsistent speed feats. SS's "positive aura" doesn't mean a thing if he can't land a decent blow on Buu.
Buu takes it easily.
If it causes Buu to split however, it does mean something. I'd totally take Mr. Buu + Super Sonic over Evil Buu myself.

He's killed casual planet busters with ease, launched an attack directed at every human on Earth, regenerated after being blown to bits, and for one of his fights, opened with destroying the planet (Kid Buu).

Remember that Mr. Buu will be little more than a distraction here. I mean, that might be enough for Sonic to do his work, but Mr. Buu is not good here for little more than a couple distracting blows and a big, pink punching bag.

Now wheres most of these pictures show normal base Sonic it should be known that Super Sonic would be many many times faster as well as more powerful then base Sonic.
