What I'm saying is, I'm so used to beat opponent -> get power, that if I kill Vriska but don't get anything I would have the wherewithal to know I haven't won and she's not properly incapacitated.

Cherrypicking is considered poor form when debating. If the idea is that Vriska can regen, she wins eventually, because she can keep it up for eternity and GANON only needs to make one mistake to lose. If by contrast, she dies to the sun, GANON gets one ability.

He doesn't need to keep it up for an eternity. He needs to keep it up until someone hits a clock. >_>

Which is the same thing I'm saying with a different stipulation. If Vriska goes down to one Sun GANON gets one spell. If she has unlimited regen it stands to reason she wins because she has an infinite amount of lives to try and beat him.

If the idea is that Vriska can regen, she wins eventually, because she can keep it up for eternity and GANON only needs to make one mistake to lose.

Historically speaking, this is not how the MPFCs have treated regen. You can have perfect regeneration with no chance of ever dying, but if your opponent can keep blasting you so that you're locked in a state of formless red sludge, you lose via incapacitation. Sort of like winning by pinning your opponent or through a ring-out; if they can't continue the fight within a reasonable time frame, whoops, sucks for them.

Probably. She has planetbusting power at a minimum, and inconclusively could be universe-busting strong.

Or using the fact that GANON has undefined parameters. GANON is effectively a toonforce character. Toonforces are technically not banned so it's allowed.

If she's not powered up, then she could as long as she had enough room to roll her dice.

I can see Ganon's spells killing Vriska long enough to count as an incapacitation... but I don't know what he'd do against mind controlling though. Hex of Fortification and Viciousness, might increase his mental defense (as well as physical defense) through the roof... but then he becomes berserked. The Drunk Priest could probably release Ganon from the control, if Ganon lucks out and the Priest casts the right spell in his drunken state. But then again, Vriska steals all the luck. Although apparently luck doesn't matter, so...

Wait, which spell does Ganon get from his final match again? Oh, Unholy Acid Field.

I forgot, how much time does it take for Vriska to control someone's mind, and to what degree can it be resisted?

Pretty much instant, and it can be fully resisted...if you have psi defenses. If you don't, you're a slave.

That's pretty much why I voted Vriska myself, too. GANON beating mind control hinges on too many 'ifs'. He has to outspeed Vriska by a ton to cast Summon Drunken Priest, Hex of Fortification, etc. etc. You have to give him heavy speedblitz abilities to win, while Vriska just has to lift a hand to her head and that is that. The power of the Sun of Nothing does...well, nothing if it never gets cast.

GANON is supposed to be the savior of MPFC. Turning him into Darsh + Urza is becoming the enemy. At that point you might as well just hand in a "vote for Darsh, Nagato, Sarda, The Host at all oppotunities, priority goes (insert priority here)" form and step outside. To paraphrase a famous speech, how much will you stomp your ideals to uphold them, Wang? GANON winning is more fun if he wins fairly, not on the basis of "yeah, he can cast 300 billion spells per second, has infinite mana, comes with four Spell Engines and two Contingencies layered to activate a loop of Suns of Nothing, and never loses because we bribed the organizer to contrive a way to make him advance". His vagueness should be an accessory skill, not what makes him win.

Tacking more and more features onto RST GANON just destroys the point of having him in the contest. He's awesome and cool because he has a fun gimmick, he's a b8 poster we can relate to, and he has a chance for a deep run. If you take advantage of his toonforce clause to say "oh yeah this wouldn't work because he has all the hax and then some", the joke isn't funny anymore, same as the Host would make the whole contest obsolete if I had written a story of him deciding to be serious forevermore in preparation for the contest just to make sure he won. There's no point in voting for GANON if he's suddenly Urza 2.0. We already have one ridiculous spellcaster troll in the bracket. Do you understand now?

Most mages are squishy. They don't have good defenses and instead rely on magic to get by, that is kind of their schtick. Even the ones who aren't frail as hell tend to not be anything special on the defensive front, like Gandalf. Furthermore, psionics resistance is just plain rare anywhere you look at it, excluding other psi users. Go ahead and deny it, but for every example you could bring up I can turn up three counterexamples. You're slapping extras on GANON to justify your vote and that is just lame. Stick to your guns man.
