How come no one ever talks about this. I figured it ended up being a disappointment since no one did after it was released, so I played through AJ and the Edgeworth game first instead.
now that I finally got around to Ghost Trick and finished it. turns out that it's a whole lot better than whatever they tried with the phoenix wright/ace attorney series. Way to let me down b8. although I guess I was warned about AJ.
Ghost Trick is a match for the Ace Attorney series at its finest, no doubt. Shame more folks don't talk about it/play it, but I've refrained from trying to jam it down too many people's throats. >_>
MrSmartGuy posted... I really liked Ghost Trick, but I honestly don't see how it could be in the same discussion as the best PW's.
PW3 > PW1 = AAI >>>> GT > PW2 >>>>>>> AJ
Nah, I'd say PW3 > GT > PW1 and then the rest applies. So it definitely is up there. Ghost Trick has the advantage of being an actual story, rather than being a connection of cases that occasionally don't really tie in to the main plot.

I guess that says a lot about what stories I find the best, considering the fact that Dragon Quest games are some of my favorite RPG's.
From: Raka_Putra | #002 What? It's a great game, but it's not like we can discuss it for months upon months.
probably not but that didn't keep PW from having character contest pretty much all the time these past 5 years !! it does make me feel better that I'm apparently not the only one who liked it!
I don't know where I'd put it compared to the best PW's though, mostly because it's been a while since I played through them. GT would probably be pretty close near the top.
