Pikmin 2 needed a time limit. Also, purples were way too overpowered to the point they trivialized most enemies.

I feel that boss fights could have been handled better but the heart of what this game is about and the level designs are truly excellent. I am not going to go into detail with the sequel, which is on the nomination list, but they were Nintendo's best 1-2 punch on the Gamecube
