yeah, that was an odd review. I haven't seen several of those complaints in any other review.

it's looking pretty good overall from what I've read. Although I'm a little disappointed to discover how short it is.

gt always scores RPGs pretty high.

you're disappointed in a 6-10 hour campaign? it's a downloadable game, I don't think it's fair to expect 30-50 hour gameplay. (nor would I want it to be that long)

I was reading 6 hours, I feel thats a bit short. 10 hours is a lot better, which I assume is if you do the optional stuff. Didn't even know there were wave survival things and such, thats pretty cool.

but yeah, it obviously depends on the game, but I like to at least hit the 10 hour mark, even for downloadables.

Bastion gets an 8.5 from Gamespot

looks like summer of arcade is off to a good start!

I imagine From Dust will be really well reviewed. I still have a gut feeling ITSP will get the best reviews though, for now, still the most excited about Bastion though.

Bastion looks interesting, although if it's just a hack 'n slash with a cool narration system, I'm not sure how long it'll hold my interest.

From Dust looks kinda interesting too.

As cool as ITSP's graphics looked, and as great as the music in those trailers was, it doesn't look like my cup of tea. Eh.

Nothing worth figuring out why my 360 won't connect to Live anymore for.

the combat is supposed to be really good with a lot of different weapons. the main criticism is the story from what I've read.

thats an odd problem though, you have no clue why it's not connecting? did you try running the test thing on the 360?

I did try running the test, and I think it connected just fine to my router, but couldn't connect to Live. Now more recently, whenever I sign in to my account, it immediately tells me it was unable to connect to Live instead of trying first.

I'd look into it, but the only things I've been playing on my 360 lately are offline games. I don't have the patience; it seems like whenever I get one system running online fine, another one stops.

Loving it so far.

everyone talked about the narrator so much I started pretty much tuning that stuff out, but he is really cool and a great addition to the game.

the gameplay is really fast paced and fun. I've only gotten a few weapons so far, but they all seem to play really differently, and they are pretty cool. I love my War Machete, a melee weapon that you can also throw.

Biggest surprise is how good the music is, they didn't talk about it at all in the lead up or in building the bastion, but it's great.

I love the Proving Ground challenges, really nice change of pace.

I think all the levels do a good job of being different too, between backstory, environments, and different gameplay twists, really enjoying this
