Well, we won that scrim 2-0 against MFU on pro dustbowl with 4 of our starters missing. I'd say that was a success.

That sniper was annoying. Also, I have no idea what to do on Dustbowl in an organized setting. Looks like it worked out though.

I was actually rather impressed by whoever that was playing scout.

Embarrassing moments:
- Medic says to build uber, but I'm not close to a wall. I instinctively go for a rocket jump but then realize that I shouldn't be rocket jumping at this point in time. I halfway attempt to cancel the rocketjump, resulting in a pathetic little rocket hop that goes nowhere.
- Suiciding on the DR spy because I didn't realize he was cloaked in front of me.

Yeah I was confused actually because I don't know MendeZ at all, I only saw him play Scout and he was so good at it before I assumed it was his main. His main is actually Spy. Go figure! He was really good though at Scout though.

Oh also. Two patches were released.

One tried to nerf the new rocket. By putting a 5% increase on reload.

Which is IMO the most pathetic attempt at nerfing ever.

To be fair, the reload speed of the mangler was actually already slower than the rocket launcher, so it should be pretty slow now.

I think it's not quite as broken as everyone thinks - from what I've seen, it has -10% damage as well as a slower reload. I still think having 5 shots is too much. Take out that fifth shot, fix the particle effect so that it doesn't f*** up the game, and I think everything's good.

They did optimize it a bit in the latest patches. So now it's no longer like firing a pyro in terms of strain on graphics cards.

I still need to get the damn weapon. No one has a spare black box to trade?

- Valve feeds weapons to their most popular classes, Heavy, Demo, and specifically the Soldier.
- Capcom focuses mainly on their million sellers, such as SF, RE, and the vs. series.

- Valve ignores or nerfs lesser played but still popular classes, the Pyro and Engineer.
- Capcom snubs less its popular franchises such as Mega Man and Monster Hunter.

- Valve gives multiple updates and weapons to the Soldier while the Engineer hasn't seen anything since his update outside of the Jag.
- Capcom gives multiple updates to Street Fighter IV while Mega Man hasn't had a big retail release since Starforce 3.

- Valve blames the above on the fans for not creating satisfactory weapon models to use in-game.
- Capcom blames MML3's cancellation on the fans because there weren't as many people as they'd have liked in the dev room.
(EDITOR'S NOTE: Valve is actually much worse in this respect since the Cow Mangler and the pistol were both based off designs for a fan-made Engineer weapon pack)

- Valve basically admits it's up to the fans to create new weapons.
- Capcom admits it was up to the fans to do the legwork for MML3.

I could continue to talk about their DLC practices, but we both know how that argument ends.

- Valve gives out TF2 for free and allows people to craft new weapons when they get the proper items required to craft them. They also allow paid shortcuts to getting those weapons.
- Capcom charges $60 for each expansion pack to its fighting games and also has paid DLC.

- Valve, being inexperienced at balancing a multiplayer game and TF2 being its first real try, sometimes ends up adding weapons that end up being way too powerful because the community can't adapt to them. Valve quickly applies a series of nerfs and buff, trying to find a sweet spot between overpowered and worthless.
- Capcom, having created fighters for over 20 years, decides to create characters specifically meant to be on the top tier on their own. They weren't DLC... this time. You just have to buy a whole new game to which everyone will switch anyway, so have fun seeing them every other match. Hey, it beats every match being against Ryu.

If youre actually serious Ganon, you realize a lot of points bio made were misleading or misinformed right?

Demo actually barely gets any actual weapons that arent Melee. Demo has what? Scottish Resistance and Loch N Load? Everything else is sword and board(Personally the funner way). Heavy is the poster boy of TF2, y'know, what Megaman supposedly is to Capcom. Of course he's gonna have a **** ton of weapons.

Pyro's don't get much because Pyro's are actually content with what they got now, and Valve doesn't want another Backburner fiasco. Point on Engie though. But calling Monster Hunter a less popular franchise is incorrect. It's prolly the biggest thing or one of the biggest things in Japan(in JAPAN). It's been proven(sadly) time and time again it doesn't do all that well everywhere else. Tri only did relatively well because of the marketing campaign they had for it.

-Mega Man 10, while not a retail, did sell very well, and that was before Infaune quit. Thats why Capcom don't care about Mega Man no more, Infaune QUIT. Speaking of not updating, where the hell was that complaint in favor of Street Fighter after almost a Decade of no new games but collections and ports before 4 came out?

For those last 2 points, you guys realize Valve actually Pays those fans that make them right <_<
