Flyers trade Jeff Carter to Columbus for Jakob Voracek, and their 1st and 3rd round picks on Friday. Robyn Regehr also asked to waive his new movement clause as Calgary wants to trade him to Buffalo.

Also, Claude Noel to be named Winnipeg's head coach (head coach of the Manitoba Moose last year).

Penner was pretty useless last year for the Kings. Still a great top 6 though...definitely not looking forward to playing against the Kings in the future! But like I said earlier, at least Richards and Bryz are out of the division now.
