Remember Rena and Mion saying 'You'll suffer the same fate as Tomitake' or 'We'll do to you the same thing we did to Tomitake' or however the hell it was phrased near the end of the first arc? They were talking about writing stuff on his arms. With a marker. Which also answers why Ooishi would tamper with Keiichi's note; he was dead serious about solving the case, and Keiichi's 'evidence' just made him look crazy. None of which was really that apparent in the anime!

(unless it was the Yamainu that tampered with the note in which case lol me)

anyway, recently got back into VNs after the fiasco known as "Symphonic Rain"

Beat Remember 11 a few days ago. Wish some of the stuff was more conclusive but it was still really good.

Started Sharin no Kuni since then and I'm only in Chapter 2 but it's ****ing amazing already, hope it stays that way.

Clannad - finished every pre-AS route except Nagisa's which I stopped in the middle of. It's enjoyable but I like the anime significantly more (favorite anime)

Umineko Chiru - still need to get to 7, this might be awhile

Hotel Dusk - lmao this isn't even a VN and it sucks so there

SR - tapped out at the beginning of Al Fine (I think that's what it's called)

I dunno, I just disliked it and couldn't get into it for whatever reason, even though I almost finished it. I'll probably just beat it sometime when I feel like getting it over with or I might start it over and give it another chance since my opinions on stuff can drastically change if I try it again.

I finished Chapter 2 and finished the backstory of the beginning of 3

Not going to go too deep with my thoughts now but that was really amazing. The only real problem I had was Mana at the ending but I pretty much always find overly mature child characters annoying in serious stuff like this so whatever. Otherwise, I loved everything about it. Every character (except Mana I guess but I did like her a lot until the ending) is great so far and I'm really looking forward to see more of Touka and especially Natsumi. The way Sachi was characterized rather negatively yet still sympathetically was brilliant and something that I've never seen in a VN heroine before. If this gets better like everyone says, this will easily be my favorite VN.
