Yeah full. I refused to get Lite since the screen is too small. They only had two left but Xbox section was entirely full. I should have checked if they had a PS5 just to see.

Mine is the Mario Kart Deluxe one. I didn't care which one I got though that would have been nicer. I just need to set up Nintendo Online when I can get around to it.

I usually check out a stores Switch stock whenever I go to one, the Targets I've been to recently all had the Animal Crossing models available.

Now with xmas coming up, I bet they're long gone

Nice, (I think) that's with the second gen chip set (that gamefaqs refused to recognize as a different model) there are revisions to this model resulting in improved stability that separate it from the initial launch models. Witcher III can still be jumpy in places, but better then the reported performance from the early models. (There was talk about latest models using a slightly less powerful chip that was supposedly also more stable(?!?), due to supply chain issues, have not been keeping up on the minutia of chip specs like I used to)

Since it's a MKD Edition, try submitting a box art shot, if it is not already there since I last checked.

I love my Lite but you're 100% right. ESPECIALLY on a game like Three Houses (my 1st Switch game). Some of the fonts on the submenu are like 2pt, it's insane.

Not to mention if the Lite gets drift - a problem the Switch / Lite are prone to - you have to send your whole system in just to have it fixed instead of just sending in the separate joycons.

I found one last week at a Walmart. It was an Oled model too. I was super surprised. They actually had two of them in a locked case. I was nice and only bought the one.

I'll be only playing in handheld. It reminds me I need to get a case and screen protector though. I've dropped my phone a few times when I fell asleep on my bed.

I probably won't get Witcher 3 again even if I could play it in better quality. I played on low mostly on my computer only really had a problem at the very beginning of the game. There was also a time where it lagged during battle and then went back to normal with all the enemies dead from my combos.

I think it was @LinkPizza who said it doesn't work right in games like Splatoon.

xbox version is obviously the superior one, since it offers everything the switch version does, at higher fidelity, but also has achievements you can earn

If only just to avoid drift, but since you have the gamecube controller, you have to ask if the game really uses L2 all that much? At some point that will be yes.

I don't really value achievements except as inspiration for interesting things to do. Assuming the Xbox achievements are the same as the Steam ones, looking through that list, there really aren't many on there that amount to anything more than naturally following the progression and tasks the game offers you, so they don't really accomplish that goal. The prophecy system serves roughly the same purpose anyway (and, in fact, "Fulfill the X prophecy" seems to make up a sizable portion of the Steam achievements), so not having an external system to validate something I'm perfectly capable of noticing that I've achieved is fine by me.

If you prefer a more typical controller it's great, super durable, with a great battery life, and I use it anytime I am at home playing Switch. For most games I think it's the best controller available from Nintendo for the Switch.

Three houses is a fantastic game. Gives you many different story paths and plenty of characters to choose from. Yes, many of them are cliche, but in my opinion, it's the best Fire Emblem game to play if you want a good amount of content and replay value.

I second this. I just play my switch in docked mode for now and haven't played smash yet but the controller is great for Breath of the Wild at least. It feels good in the hands too if you have big hands and don't like the grip/joy-con combo.

Well heads up in case you guys grab Dark Souls (it's still 50% off for another day I think)-

I grabbed it yesterday and for whatever reason they reversed the cancel / action buttons on Switch from what they were on the XBOX and PS3 / 4.

So it's "B" (or what's normally cancel) for action, "A" (or what's normally action) for cancel / backdash - roll. It's friggin's stupid and I hate it. Now to be fair, you can remap these in the options however there's still plenty of places on the game menus and etc where you have to go back to the crappy, reversed button layout.

Fighting and etc feels good again, but having to equip shit and anything in the inventory is weird asf still. I figure I should mention it as my good deed of the day or something.

Presumably, that was a matter of wanting to make the button positions line up, since A and B are swapped on Xbox controllers relative to Nintendo ones. It's good if you're operating from muscle memory, but bad if you put any thought into which button you're hitting (which mostly comes up in menus or other situations where the controls are indicated on screen, in my experience).

I'm playing Diablo 2 R on mine now and just had my first ever HoZ drop off Nightmare meph. It's a pretty sick shield, even if it's kind of a low/mid roll on the ED%. Playing SP offline so trading for decent crap is out of the question.

I had to tell somebody about it because I'm a big dork. Finally something friggin' good on this damn slot machine of a game!

for real! i think it does suffer from some repetition, especially on repeat playthroughs but its a blast, and i think does a genuinely great job of fleshing out a pretty huge cast of characters.
