Well it doesn't look all bad. The fighting styles already look more colorful than NASB. Doubles with a focus on support/buffing is different.

It could, but the plus side to it being free is that anyone can try it out and see if its any good or not without losing anything other than a little time

The Nick game went WAY too hard in trying to please hardcore players instead of casual players. This looks like it'll have a much better balance between casual and pro.

People keep saying this but...it looks like a cartoon version of her? They obviously are adapting everything to a house style and that looks like cartoon Maisie-as-Arya to me.

Plus, they apparently got her to voice the character so it's...maybe not a "don't wanna pay her" thing.

So this 100% confirms the leak was real which means Gandalf and Rick Sanchez are also playable at least.

Also curious about how the roles will apply? Looks like half the cast is listed as bruisers, but Wonder Woman is the only one considered a tank so far. Rick and Gandalf I assume are both mages

Yeah I'll be completely honest here; I didn't recognize her either until I saw the name pop up and it clicked, but that's not because she doesn't look like the character, it's because Arya's character design isn't very iconic! So of course it doesn't translate well compared to cartoon characters who were designed with that in mind.

I wouldn't rule anything out yet, this is just the initial roster and I'd be really surprised if Jon didn't make it in, maybe with Ghost with him. Jaime might be more of a stretch, simply because there's less immediately distinct there. If say the most likely reps would be Arya, Jon, then Dany and maybe even the Night King

its so hard to guess where they might go with the cast here.WB is such a broad concept, its so much harder to narrow down who to choose compared to Smash Bros.

like lets assume DC comics is going to be the Mario of this thing with the most character representation... whats the #2? GoT and LotR are both big ones for sure, dunno which is bigger even. Maybe you go for a bunch of Looney Tunes since theyre like the most classically WB brand? oh and Harry Potter is theirs I guess, so you probably need the three main kids from that + maybe a Voldemort at some point.

also I guess it really depends on how many characters end up in this thing ultimately. seems like no matter how many there are, you probably end up snubbing some major WB property

I also saw rumors (unconfirmed, unlike the leak) that the game will feature Lebron James from Space Jam and will probably feature Harry Potter but there was some kind of licensing issue with that

I imagine Neo is likely, and possibly Agent Smith too, especially since there's a new Matrix film coming.
