Shit I was like Stage 9 last weekend I'm still not feeling right from it. I go way too hard and my tolerance is so high I have to limit booze to fridays & Saturdays only, and even then I'll take weekends off.

Gone are the days of beer for breakfast and week long benders.

Almost always tastes awful, it's overpriced as hell, and I have no desire to be drunk

what makes it worse is that there's a societal stigma against not drinking, where if you don't drink people kind of act like you're an asshole for it. Plus being sober around drunk people is just the worst

Good, I guess. I'm not a huge fan of being drunk, but I like drinking as long as the cocktail/spirit/beer I'm drinking doesn't suck.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of stuff that does suck.

I think the societal stigma is just a general one about abstinence, not alcohol in specific. Look at the societal stigma against not eating animal products (source: the bottom of this topic's past results). Or try throwing out a "sorry, I don't eat pizza" and see what people say to you.

More good than bad, but I have felt some of the downsides of drinking alcohol. I don't drink very often (maybe 2 to 3 times a year), but alcohol at the moderate to high levels makes it easier to find random things funny. The biggest side effect is getting a headache from consuming moderate to high levels of alcohol.

Not really. Maybe when ur young. When your older you only really see this when talking with regular drinkers.

I rarely drink anymore and prefer alternative ways if the point is not to be sober, but I have so many good memories of drunken shenanigans during the years that despite it all, I regard it positively.

You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning

To be honest though hasnt someone else experienced when you're only slightly hungover and its sundsy and you make a Ceaser for breakfast or something its unfathomable how good it is.
