Overdose is yet another eh pick from Blue Reflection. I liked it slightly more than Albireo Lake, at least. Meanwhile... oh, I guess I'm not actually feeling In Circles today. Huh. Guess I'm going with Overdose after all.
Heavenly Flight is oddly refreshing as far as songs in this contest go, filling a niche it didn't actually occur to me that we were missing. TLGWMEP is too short.
I really don't want to talk about the last match at all, but I will say that Homecoming Hijinx is a pretty damn good song.

In Circles came on in the fancy new SiIvaGunner bot auto-playlist. I was reminded of how indifferent I am to Supergiant soundtracks in general (and then two more songs came on because what's randomization anyway?), but I really don't like Overdose.

I was also reminded of how much I hate Madworld.

OVERDOSE is exactly the kind of rhythm game music I've slowly come to dislike more and more (I overdosed on it hehe)
But FL81, Blue Reflection isn't a rhythm game!
THIS SONG SURE SOUNDS LIKE IT'S FROM ONE!!

There's something about In Circles specifically that really sparks something for me, since I usually hate this kind of music.

Wasn't Heavenly Flight in that reverse ranking topic? Man, this DQ8 music is beautiful, I could listen to it all day!

I really wasn't expecting anything from an Old Spice game of all things, but this song is a real BAGNER! Why is this so good?!?! (voting against my faves bracket here, real tough choice)

In Circles sounded nice, the other song sounded ew.

Match 2: The Last Game We May Ever Play

Niiiiiice. Didn't care for the other one, but this one is intense.

Side Bracket: Look Pimpin'

Brim tilted, coat quilted, Fresh to death, literally I do kill it.

Not even a contest here. The other song was boring. Look Pimpin is fun as hell.

In Circles is nice. OVERDOSE is okay. Heavenly Flight is great, I like the orchestral stuff a lot. I don't think The Last Game We May Ever Play is my thing, I don't like it anyway. Homecoming Hijinx was fairly weak to me, didn't like all the buildup sections, and at least I sorta appreciate Look Pimpin''s style.

The final day is a bad day, saved by one great song.

-First match: OVERDOSE is an electronic song done RIGHT. It even has dubstep wobbles without entering the dubstep territory, which is great. In Circles reminds me of Zia's Theme from Bastion, having such a similar vocal style, but it's not up to OVERDOSE's greatness.

-Second match: Heavenly Flight is an extremely weak emotional song. It sounds like it's that typical epic piece that will knock your socks off with its brilliance and greatness, but it really doesn't do much... At least not for me (except for transmitting a special emotion... but that's it). TLGWMEP is kind of my thing, but it's also kind of not so good. Also, the fact that it ends so extremely abruptly is not only anti-harmonic, but it also makes my browser crash for some reason (I also thought it was a Side bracket song since it doesn't sound like something people in general would support, but clearly I'm wrong!).

-Third match: Look Pimpin' is not my style at all, but Homecoming Hijinx is extremely bland in comparison; it doesn't do anything unpleasant, but it doesn't do anything outstanding either.
