Didn't really like Fallen Angel's vocals at all, that's not a style I tend to like. A Name Cast Off from the Edge was pretty good. To Become the Foundation of the World is one of my favorite Cold Steel tracks from a soundtrack I really like, but I did like Your Contract Has Expired also. Just, less. I hated Convoy Country. MAIN MEN wasn't too bad.

For me, this is the strongest main bracket 4 in the entire of R1. All four songs I either nominated or seriously considered supporting. Also, all four songs I would vote over at least two-thirds of the other songs in the contest.

Both songs in the first match are really good except both suffer a bit from length/repetition. The not-Touhou song isn't as consistent, but I really like the high points and it's the less repetitive of the two so I'll give it the nod here.
Contract is certainly a style I really like, although I find it lacking for some reason, like it needs more punch or a more memorable melody or something. In the meantime, Foundation is Falcom doing Falcom things, and you know
Side bracket match isn't quite as rude although both songs were fine. Just preferred the more upbeat style of Convoy County I guess.

least worst 2hu is the one that isn't a 2hu song (well okay rftm's close but still). normally I like wangan midnight songs a ton but I've never felt this one at all. hopefully fallen angel will fall off people's radars in noms next year

contract is meh but surprisingly so is foundation. tough call, thanks to foundation being the one disappointing trails song in the contest

convoy country isn't even that bad but jeez. the top gear rally theme is literally filling the same niche, but is straight up a better song and it isn't even close. pal top gear rally menu theme > main men though

A Name Cast Off from the Edge - Man, I really like Wangan Midnight songs, but they so freaking repetitive. And not in the sense of too many loops - instead the format is like AAAABBBBCCCCDDDD so you can't really cut the second half of the song out to improve it. Really frustrates me considering how much I like the parts before they repeat. Cast Off is pretty great for a Touhou song, so I give it the edge here.

Your Contract Has Expired - Foundation's kinda okay but nothing special. Cold Steel doesn't really blow me away compared to previous Trails tracks, unfortunately (at least Ys stayed good in the modern games...). Contract starts out amazingly, and though it kinda peters out, that's better than anything Foundation has.

MAIN MEN - Convoy Country is freaking terrible. One of the worst songs in the contest, if not the worst period. I hate everything about it.

Nice day with awesome music. First two matches were tough as nails to decide, but the winner was clear enough for me to be able to vote.

-First match: Gosh, 11 minutes of Touhou music? At least it was a great song (it has some piano bits that give it away as a Japanese composition [not that it needs to give it away anyway...]). Fallen Angel is pretty good electronic music; it's repetitive, but that doesn't hurt it at all, although it could've definitely be better had it taken some twists.

-Second match: A Hat in Time's song is good, but kind of weak. On the other hand, Falcom sounding Falcom and nothing more... But that's one of the weakest songs I've heard from Falcom.

Third match: What happens when you mix Country with buses? Well, Convoy Country! Not such a good song, but still quirky and different from conventional music. When I saw a title such as "MAIN MEN", I thought I was going to listen to something along the lines of "YMCA" or "In the Navy", but gay (literally); turns out it's a pretty decent theme.
