I was actually pretty deep into a country rock song. I don't remember specifically what it was about, but then the singer said "Jesus" and I looked over and saw the description of the station was "Religious Music."

The Sound was the best bloody radio station I've ever heard and now the frequency is playing my absolute least favorite kind of music. Feels bad. X_X

That wouldn't even make me blink. My wife listens to Country and Jesus/God is brought up in multiple songs.

I prefer KDUV myself for Christian music but i still like K-Love. They just get into ruts where they only play the same eleven songs all day.

Then you haven't been exposed to the worst kind of music: Brazilian Jazz. I was working third shifts at the time, and one of the weekend shows played that kind of music. I'm convinced that you could break somebody's will by forcing them to listen to the stuff.

I think you'd start to notice when beer or losing your woman isn't mentioned in the entire song.

I grew up in a city where there were only two rock stations at all. One got converted into a Christmas Songs Station and the other into a third Rap Station, so now it has absolutely no rock station, not hits, not classic, not anything.

I'd have said it isn't that bad, but then I remember a local station where I grew up called Rock FM only played rock music occasionally. Or at least what could be loosely defined as rock.

The Sound was the best station for that type of music around here, it is unfortunate.

Sadly, being a Christian of Convenience is starting to become a fad locally, so its not entirely surprising.

My favorite station was the only one around that would play Smooth Jazz, but then it got changed to yet another generic '80s/'90s station.

There's nothing good around here anymore.
