I played the Stellar Blade demo. Its fun, especially when you have more skills unlocked, but the art direction and design is so bland, I just cant get into it.

I don't have a lot of interest in Stellar Blade, but apparently people have decided this game is the new mascot for the PRO Gamegate movement so I'll be very intermid typing I realized this was one seriously LMS ass post I am so sorry.

....I hope Eiyuden is good. I got burned hard by Sea of Stars last year. At least if it's not then we have the Sui remasters to look forward to.

Ohhhhh Stellar Blade is THAT one, I remember seeing the trailers for it and being so mixed on how I feel about it. Rewatching a trailer now I still feel the same, like the gameplay looks like it could be fun but the story reallyyyyy doesn't sell me so far and some of the character design is giving me Xenoblade 2 feelings lol

There are costumes if you're not a fan of the standard design.

Oh it's something I could get over, I'd just accept the absurdity, but hopefully the story/characters seem vastly more interesting in the actual game

This is my first time seeing the Stellar Blade costumes....I mean they're still not great, but they help. The game still looks so uncanny.

If I do get it I'll probably use the Leon Kennedy jacket.

Stellar Blade seems like it's just Nier with better shooting and maybe not as good a story. So that's a maybe.

I think just Eiyuden. I keep thinking maybe I'll try a Saga, but I never do, and that will probably continue to be true. Meanwhile, I'm somewhat interested in Sand Land, but every time I see the vehicle combat, I think it's not for me. And then hearing Stellar Blade plays more soulslike has completely put me off of it.

When I saw the trailer for the game last year I thought for sure it was one of those trashy Chinese vaporware games they threw together with jank mechanics and just straight up porn models. Pleasantly surprised it's actually a solid game according to people that played the demo.

at this point it's anyone's guess tbh. could easily just be an old tentative date from heck knows how long ago, and it hasn't even been formally announced so it could also easily get delayed from here even if it is a legit planned date now, but hey

edit: it's not trolling, it literally is sorted in between other may 2nd releases so that's what it has been privately tentatively set to because steam doesn't do a very good job of hiding this. it caught my attention when i was checking the bottom of the april list

My understanding was that the writers had a vicious falling out over wanting to take the game in completely different directions, and the game was likely never going to be released.

difficult to say because changes like that aren't publicly shown when it's not a change to the text people actually see on the store. about all there really is to go off is just the fact that it has now been a solid 4 years since that hiatus and the only updates since have been just "hey we're still prioritising other things but it hasn't totally stalled yet"
