I started watching the Babylonia anime last night. I've heard mixed reviews but it seems good so far. I'll watch the Solomon movie after I've beaten it in the game. So far the fights haven't been remotely hard but I think it's coz I've been using busted support units.

The demon pillars are generally pretty easy. The only somewhat hard fight in Solomon is Goetia himself.

Camelot movie 2 is the best of the FGO anime

Fun fact: this was originally a bug. They fixed it and the fanbase complained so extremely loudly that they readded the bug back in SPECIFICALLY for King Hassan just so he could get the swaggiest possible finish for his NP.

Taking on the Demon Pillars as a community was one of the cooler events.

That was originally a bug? I had no idea. It's always been the coolest thing for him!

Fun fact btw the Solomon singularity was a collaborative raid against the demon pillars initially (you do the final fights only now). The funny part is that it was timed, and the Korea server ended up not beating them in time, so the devs had to cheat for them to win. So its a joke that the Korea server is a doomed timeline because actually Goetia won.

Personally, I might advise going straight to Part 2. Epic of Remnant is optional content, and a lot of events this year are locked behind Lostbelt completion. It's up to you, though.

Yeah, I'd definitely go back to EoR eventually even if you do skip it for now, and Shinjuku is great. IIRC, the main thing LB content references from EoR is a bit of Douman stuff, which isn't super relevant until LB5.5.

A few other things worth mentioning.

There was this Dantes Side Event that was placed somewhere around London/America IIRC. You should be able to grab it for free from the Rare Prism shop at this point. Pretty sure it's canon and it's pretty short (nowhere near Singularity length) and rewards some tickets and stuff.

For Epic of Remnant, as mentioned, for whatever reason you're able to skip past them right to Cosmos in the Lostbelt if you want. Aside from the 4 EoR Chapters in the main 1.5 tab however, there was basically a bonus EoR Chapter that was styled as an Event - SE.RA.PH. It too was made available in the Rare Prism shop and also for free (provided you meet the requirement, which I think is clearing Solomon.) It's a bona-fide EoR Chapter in all but name so if you do play EoR (and you should at some point!) be sure to pick it up. I think it takes place around where Shimousa does in terms of order.

As mentioned by Mac, the benefit to skipping right to the Lostbelts is that this year has a bunch of events gated behind various Lostbelt completion. The currently ongoing lotto behind LB1 completion being the first but it continues basically all year, gradually requiring further and further completion.

I also recommend skipping Agartha until you have nothing else to do. The story's quality is offensively bad and there are no unique drops from the chapter.

How much longer is the LB1 lotto event? I don't like rushing through story arcs but if there's stuff in there that's worth it for my servants I probably could do that.

Basically my whole gameplay now is geared around rolling Morgan in a few weeks.

10 days. Then a new event that requires LB2 starts right after lol...

Thankfully, the first event that requires LB3 isn't til June, IIRC.

How far away is the Morgan/Arjuna/Musashi lucky bag? I'm very tempted to just go for Morgan right away (especially since I like her a lot more than the other two,) but if that isn't far away I might just try with that instead.

(Of course, I don't have nearly enough to pity her, but testing my strangely amazing luck hasn't let me down yet (and I'm sure I didn't just jinx myself by saying that.))

GSSRs (Lucky Bags) happen at Anniversary in early July and at New Year

Roll Morgan on her banner, then get her to NP2 with the lucky bag, simple!

(If I do get her I'll probably grab a different bag, though. I like having variety way too much to intentionally go for an NP2, even if I do appreciate unintentionally getting two copies of Kintoki.)

Oh, should have included this in the last post but also in "Events you should be able to grab for free from the Rare Prism Shop" - Christmas in the Underworld.

As the name implies, it was a past Christmas event, but this one in particular kind of addresses some loose plot threads from Babylonia. Calling it an epilogue is going too far, but it does address some consequences of how Babylonia ended so you'll probably enjoy it. Like the Dantes one, it's nowhere near as long as a main story chapter. Also Christmas in the Underworld (and SE.RA.PH) will give you a Servant so there's that too.

Was the GSSR ticket I used at the start the same as the 6th anniversary one? Or do you get a GSSR just for starting out and that's the one I used? Wondering if I'll get another one shortly here

A few different things were going on around there.

There should have been when you started:

1 SSR Ticket - Should have been available from the start/after Fuyuki. I think you picked Waver with this?

1 GSSR Banner - This was a thing added relatively recently that was also a one-time thing meant to further help new players. This was an NA-only thing they added and so didn't follow the pattern of the usual GSSRs. I believe this is the thing you got Gil from.

Neither of those were the same thing as the GSSRs we're talking about. Those are the "typical" GSSRs that we get twice a year - one at anniversary and another at New Years. They're time-limited (usually 2 weeks-ish) and take place in early July/January. Our next scheduled one is the 7th Anniversary one. NA Anniversary is July 4th so we'll probably get it July 4. You'll be able to pull from this (as will all of us.)

Unlike the one you got Gil from - these are divided up into a bunch of different pools. How they divide them up is something they change up every time but typically each GSSR banner will have like 4-7 Servants in them so you know you're guaranteed to get one of them. But you can only pick one banner in the GSSR and you can only pull from it once.

The Morgan/Arjuna Alter/Summer Musashi Banner we were talking about before is one of the pools that will be in the 7th Anniversary GSSR and is notable because there's only three Servants in it (so a 1 in 3 chance of getting Morgan, for instance) which is way less than usual and all three are very good in the meta so basically no matter who you get you get a great Servant.

Oh it's happened before.

We've seen instances of people getting dupes of a SSR during a GSSR.
If you're truly EX Rank luck, you'd get Arjuna Alter, Summer Musashi and Morgan all in one pull.
We've seen something like that happen.

Watching Babylonia, they seem like they've knocked everything out of the park.

The relationship between Ushiwakamaru and Ritsuka seemed way more defined here than in the game.

Ushiwakamaru, Quetz, Leonidas and Ishtar's NPs all look pretty good.

Gramps felt a bit underwhelming when it was his time to step in.

Ritsuka is somehow much blander in the anime than the game. They delete pretty much all the fun stuff.

Also they don't skimp on the fanservice. Episode one the camera is blatantly like "Look at how athletic Mash is!"
