A couple things, Ana's NP doing an auto-stun is SO USEFUL especially when her NP bar fills up so fast

And this is a small thing to adore about the game, but when you select Barghest's Black Dog Galatine, and her voice line is the psychotic laughter... that is SO GOOD.

I think the voice acting in this may be my favorite in any game I've ever played. I'm struggling to think of one where I like it better than this.

The daily quests should drop way more materials for the AP they cost.

I should not be getting just one rider skill up thing and then bunch of QP from this. This kind of horrific farming stuff will absolutely make me quit the game down the line.

The only Daily Quest really worth running are Embers for EXP and Doors for QP. The Class Training ones aren't really worth it as you can see.

Honestly where you are right now is a tough spot, timing-wise. In a little over a week we're expected to have what is known as a "lotto" event which is basically the premium spot to get a shitton of class orbs, EXP, and QP all at once. Problem is, the event itself is locked behind having completed Lostbelt 1. We typically have two lottos events a year - it used to be like Late Summer/Early Fall and Christmas but this year they moved that first one back to Late March.

Damnit. There's almost no way I could speed run all that content just for the lotto.

And I don't want to speedrun it anyway. Why would they lock an event like that behind lost belt 1

Also the Ereshkigal/Ritsuka night scenes are adorable. In my headcanon, since I've already summoned Ereshkigal, Ritsuka is acting like he doesn't know her for her sake.

I chose Quetz with my free 5* last year. I needed more suplexes in my life.

Lowkey one of my favorite FGO things I ever did was help set this up.

Also: STRONG recommendation for reading FGO Turas Realta. It's one of the two Arc 1 manga adaptations (it's the one featuring male Fujimaru) and unlike the other one which entered dev hell, it has kept going at a steady pace and is currently on Babylonia. As far as I'm concerned, Turas Fujimaru is very much the canon version of the character -- a much more complex character than the one we get to play as, but still demonstrably the same guy.

Also, if you like Quetzalcoatl, good news: she's getting a ten times cooler version near year end/start of next year, so you have time to prep for her.

Bad news: she features in Lostbelt 7, gotta catch up to see her do her thing

I'll be caught up by next year I'd have to think. I've been at this for like a month and a half and I'm almost done with part one.

They have events locked behind story completion progressively this year to encourage people to play the story. It sucks for new players for sure.

Got Hans Christian Anderson to NP5 and have decided to level him up.

His second strengthen quest is indeed not available yet. It was released with the 8th Anniversary - which for us would be July 2025.

His interlude though, should be. You probably haven't met the Bond requirement though. He needs to be at Bond Level 3 so just keep bringing him to battles and eventually he'll get there. If you've met all the other requirements the game will helpfully include the notice that the interlude is now available when he reaches that Bond Level.

While Strengthening/Rank Up Quests all (with maybe like one or two exceptions?) just require you to have the Servant at their final Ascension, Interludes typically have Bond Level requirements as well that you have to reach. It varies from Servant to Servant but with a single exception it will never require any higher than Bond Level 5 (and getting to 5 is generally the easy part, the bond requirements usually don't start getting much higher until after that.) There's also occasionally a story chapter requirement on Interludes as well - like for Hans you have to have cleared London which you've obviously done.

Ah damn I forgot the bond levels.

I am actually starting to need all 6 servants in Babylonia but that bond requirement will get up there pretty quick.

I figure I barely have any support servants and both Hans and Shakespeare are easy as hell to level up.

I don't know how much he's held on but back when I was playing Hans was legitimately great in an arts team - almost like a budget Merlin just in terms of how he could dump out buffs to the team

Just finished Babylonia this morning. That whole arc was SO GOOD.

I think it was just slightly better than Camelot, but they really REALLY ramped up the story-telling over the last two arcs.

IDK if I'm overpowered or not, but Baobahn Sith and Herc just made mince-meat of all the final battles. Adding King Hassan to the team helped my cut down those Lahmus like they were NOTHING.

I had a little trouble with the last version of Tiamat. She killed the support Gilgamesh, only to start getting smacked in the head by my own Gilgamesh. Final blow was ENUMA ELISH!!! proving that even a beast of humanity is just another ZASSHU

Usually I wait a little bit to start the next phase but I'm kind of pumped to get into this final battle w solomon.
