In fact, some people that said they did not like Hamilton voted for it anyway. The big story here is the absolute collapse of Wicked towards the end; Wicked actually lead Hamilton for most of the topic, then not only stopped getting votes, but actually lost votes from so many people swapping to things like Rent and Fiddler. By that time it was too late for the top 4 to really change but we did get close to a three-way tie of Wicked, West Side and Les Mis. Also as someone who hasn't played an extensive amount of the series, Jill's design stands out to me so much more. Quick note on the pushback against Hamilton's inclusion: if you don't have it on your Rushmore, I don't think you can have another show on there from at least the past twenty years like with Wicked/Avenue Q or maybe the past thirty years with Rent. It makes more sense to me not to have any shows as new as Rent or newer than it does to have shows post-Rent but not include Hamilton. Opinions and such, I know...just mine. The only thing I don't know because I've never played them is if Monster Hunter has a character that should be on here, since it is their second most profitable series. It's amazing that a character can held up in such high esteem despite having 0 relevant games for decades. Even in his heydey his games never actually sold that well, and nowadays? Without Smash, a character like Phoenix Wright would legitimately be much more well-known among younger gaming crowds. The thing about Rathalos is it literally appears in crossovers, theres a Smash boss fight and a FFXIV boss fight. Its iconic enough and these days Monster Hunter is probably their biggest series. I think about that clip from Mega Man 8 where Dr Lights voice actor almost calls Mega Man Wily then corrects himself. Also Zen can we see the full schedule?
