Every sub boss in the final dungeon has 99,999 hp and theyre all hard. The random mobs are no joke too

I played ff1 on nes, and that final dungeon was kinda like this. You had to do it all in one go with like four sub bosses, no saving, AND defeat the final boss. And it was intense.

But ff3 is like twice as crazy lol. I cant imagine doing this without quick save. But at least you can heal at the crystals. Could you do that in the original? Before i got to my first crystal, i was in extreme resource management mode with my elixirs and shit lol.

Aight I beat it. I really appreciate how well these old skool ff games hold up with the pixel remasters. Theyre still really deep and strategic to this day. Especially ff5, which has like the best combat in the series.

That game is trash lol. Every good RPG should have meaningful gameplay, story, and exploration, and FF13 fails at all three. Its crazy to me a Famicom game from 1990 is more entertaining, let alone innovative.

It's the SNES original difficulty but with halved level up requirements (or double EXP if you prefer) and a couple of quality of life updates (the big one being that bows now have infinite arrows)

Maybe there's something different about drop rates in the pixel remasters. It's like you're just stumbling onto shiny pokemon constantly.

they did increase the odds a lot in the pixel remaster, but he's still getting pretty lucky

The FFXIV PS4 Platinum is doable with the free trial. It's just really really grindy.

For some reason the PS5 Platinum requires doing content in the expansions, when it really shouldn't. Especially when there are separate trophy lists for each expansion.

Zeromus is so dumb btw. I was over leveled from all the item hunting required for the trophy, plus you need everyone over level 70 anyway. If he uses Big Bang twice in a row you still get wrecked anyway.

Is any final boss in the series harder than him?

Probably NES Cloud of Darkness since it literally only did Particle Beam every turn

I dunno if Zeromus is the hardest FF final boss, but I would feel more confident in saying that Rosa is the most essential party member to beat an FF final boss that isn't the main character.

Have to unlock FF difficulty by beating it on normal.

Nothing is missable until you hit Point of No Return 1. The game will be extremely clear when you reach that point and you can clean up there. After that point, there is nothing missable anymore. Everything will be available and can be done at any time, even after beating the final boss. You can eveb reload your save after beating the game to pick up stuff before heading to ng+.
