Kiara had to give up on the final mission as it refused to work and she kept failing. Otherwise it thankfully worked alright for her.

Oh thats what I meant, she replayed the last mission like two dozen times, including going in to task manager to adjust her system so she could get the fps ~30 to work through the ramp BS. It was a glitch fest with slideshow frames and spasmodically jumping screens.

She worked through it like a champ tho

New Holo JP girls

I find it kind of funny how Gen 5 were senpais to EN by a matter of weeks, and now EN3 is the same to Gen 7.

I still say mumei is secretly gura, I dont care if theyve collabed together

I put bijous portal 2 stream on and I had it on as background noise and I thought it was gura/bijou and guras pitch was just tuned weird. They use the same phrases and some odd intonations.

They're not Gen 7 JP though, they're basically Gen 1 DEV_IS (though I think they're not officially called as "gen 1")

Either way, DEV_IS is clearly treated as a separate branch from JP, considering DEV_IS has its own Youtube channel. If Regloss is part of JP, they would've just be a part of the existing Holo JP Youtube channel, but Regloss is on DEV_IS' separate Youtube channel instead.

(Also, I think none of the official announcement mentions them specifically as Gen 7 of JP either)

Though I'm unsure about whether your reply is aimed at the "Regloss is not Gen 7 JP" bit, or the "they're not yet officially called as Gen 1" bit.

By the way, A-chan just recently also has a stream showing that DEV_IS is considered a completely new and separate branch altogether than JP. So yeah, Regloss isn't Gen 7 JP, their branch is not even JP to begin with.

I hope Cover knows what they're doing here. The reason people like me pay for Holo concerts to begin with is to support our oshis who build connections with their fans through streaming. If they think they can debut some girl band group whose primary focus is music and puts streams on the backburner then they're going to be reminded quickly why Hololive became as popular as it did

I guess that would depend on what they view as succeeding at their goals for whatever the focus is for the branch. I don't think anyone in the roster has ever expressed a Big Numbers focus (outside of "this is a job and it needs to do well enough to keep going" and Kiara at her most brain-wormy)

Debuts in a few regardless, we'll know more then

(Comparison points: the stars lads and smaller corpos, they clearly do enough and have enough of a following to do what they do and be considered successful despite The Numbers being much smaller than -live)
