It's not really by choice. I try lots but they all suck and I inevitably drop them.

The only one that I actually really liked was counter side but I was so bad at the game and didn't understand the mechanics. It was some point after they released that dungeon with the green gem rewards, they added some new limited rotation challenge feature for even more shit and I realized then that I just don't know how to fucking play the game at all when I couldn't even complete the first mission. It was very frustrating and I gave up but I really liked the game when I was playing through the easy stages.

I'll be playing on mobile, too. :) I'm sure it'll play fine this time (comparing it to Genshin) with the no jumping and turn-based combat.

Im gonna give it a shot too. I need more games to occupy my time though. Im basically just playing Epic Seven and War of the Visions.

And now that the local UMvC3 tournament is over, I have no motivation to practice that game right now lol

Ill be trying it on PC. Well see how it goes, but I havent stuck with any gacha since quitting Counterside last August. They all either suck, or are too hard for me like Counterside, GFL, and Guardian Tales.

Yeah, combat should be fine. Mostly wondering how moving around the over world will be on phones really.

Those who are playing, you gonna pull on the 5* banners or just the starter and save?

I'll just pull on the starter banner and then save the rest for Luocha, who should be in one or two of the next updates. I'm a fan of his Japanese VA and he's a 5* healer so I figure he'll be really useful, anyway.

What I'm tempted to do as well. Just no idea who might be coming that I'd save for.

A few that are rumored to come in 1.1 and 1.2 are Luocha, Silver Wolf, and Kafka. Those updates are still a while out though so those leaks aren't necessarily accurate, though those units are ones that were in betas so they should be out soon, regardless.

Why must you do this to me Hoyo? At the very least I like turn-based games better than action, so unlike Genshin, Ill likely play HSR even if I cant get Seele from the start.

I think I'll just take whatever opening roll the game gives me and go with it. Most of the characters that caught my interest were either low-rarity characters or characters that won't be in the game at launch anyways, and I didn't see any that I like so much that I feel like I need to re-roll for them.

I'm apparently just the 15th person in the whole game to beat normal difficulty expedition mode

played star rail for a bit, got to some snow planet. seems pretty fun. the doll with the hammer seems pretty powerful at least for standard battles

not sure if ill spend money on it, ill keep playing for a while. i do like the turn based combat but we'll see what happens later on with P2W.

i do have a lot of investment in genshin, but i kinda realised the only thing I like about the game is the combat/team building and the like. I don't like pretty much anything else which is the story or exploration :/

I'm on my way to the snow planet, but am taking a break because

A) Time to do War of the Visions dailies
and
B) It's making my phone pretty warm, even at only 30 FPS lol

I got Welt, he's cool. Dunno how good he is but at least for now he has a unique element. I would have liked that fire lady with the orbital laser more, but no way I'm rerolling in this game.

Jesus, the rates in this game are doodoo. 40 and 10 pulls on the welfare/gold ones, got a bunch of literal shit and 2 4* characters. That was definitely my least favorite part about Genshin. I did basically majority of the worthwhile content in that game with 4* characters lmao

I made it to rank 6 in unknown Knights. I'm visible on the leaderboard without needing to scroll down lol

Tbf, Genshin has 0.x% base rate for the highest rarity character/weapon, climbing to something like 6% after 72 pulls up to 89 pull for one chance.

I finally got my first 5-star character in HSR (via the guaranteed one after 50 pulls on the beginner banner) and I got Himeko. Now time to not do any more pulls and save my resources until Silver Wolf gets added to the game.
