i'm semi-glad i haven't been feeling nuedori as much since noms happened since that match would be so hard otherwise. heck, if kimi dake reboot was in it'd be my top song today by a comfortable margin and i was rating it lower than nuedori initially

Mimic has a couple of interesting parts but it's too messy as a whole and I don't like the last couple of phases. Blast isn't amazing but I like the backing bass. Both tracks here have a nice backing beat actually.
I'm adding 13 Sentinels to the pile of 'popular VGMC soundtracks that I feel absolutely nothing towards' along with PSO2. I like the chanting in Nuedori.

Kind of a weak day. The first match is between two songs that feel like they go nowhere, while the second one features a 13 Sentinels song that doesn't excite me much and a nice vocal track.

Some parts of Nuedori are so cool, wish i could earnestly vote for it. This match is actually pretty close, way more than id have expected me to feel

I really love the branched version of phenylalanine in particular, but this is still pretty great

Mimic is absolute fire. Awesome drums, bass, piano, and everything. Definitely one of my favorites from Ace Combat 7. The fusion elements are great. Never a dull moment in this one. Easy vote for this one in this match.

I like the intro to Aerolith Aurorablast. Cool synths throughout. Though the actual composition is kinda boring. The drop at 2:49 did regain my interest, but not for long. Ok song overall.

Nuedori is pretty nice. Nice ethnic instrumentation. Vocals are quite lovely as well. The melody is pretty solid, and just a very good all-around composition.

-(PHENYLALANINE)- is very cool. Ambient start to it with interesting synths, but this one really takes off at 1:08. 13 Sentinels synths are some of the best in VGM. And this song is no exception to that. The buildup starting at 3:51 is just pure ear candy. Since the YT link was changed to the version without the awkward edit of the victory screen theme (I'm using the files I have on my computer to listen to them since they're significantly better quality), I won't complain about that this time. Tougher vote, but I'll still go for this one.

Already commented on Egg Reverie and 46-:ri9 previously. But Egg Reverie is still a fun song while 46-:ri9 is still one of my favorite songs in general, so it's really no competition there.

Very strong day except for Aerolith Aurorablast.

Mimic does a lot of different stuff, but I don't like any of it. Oh well. Aerolith, OTOH, is a lot of fun. Could stand to be a bit shorter, but it's a minor flaw.

The start of Nuedori is a lot of fun. I don't like when more instruments come in for the chorus. The start of PHENYLALANINE isn't my favorite part, but once it gets going it's excellent.

I wanted to ramble on about how much I love Mimic, but I've been feeling a bit spaced out today :x Quite possibly my favourite song from the first bracket, especially if you manage to cut out in game context or nostalgic value.
