NsOVeetle 01/31/22 12:41:38 PM #1:	I'm doing fantastic. Well I'm at least doing alright, which by my estimation is better than most. Seems like optimism is a rare commodity these days. I've just been doing some thinking, reflecting, etc. and felt like writing out my thoughts here quickly. I used to come to this board a lot. Like every day. Multiple times a day, even. This place, the lasting community here, it offered me solace at a time I really needed it. I can still recall being 14, just starting freshman year at a new high school. I had zero friends and felt totally out of place. But sometimes I would talk to Boko or greengravy on Aim for a bit, and that was cool for me. Thanks guys, that little bit of socialization did a lot for me. I have fond memories of playing mafia around this time too. I was still new to the board, so a forum game that allowed anyone to play seemed like a fun way to get to know people. I wasn't very good as I lacked the attention span to dig through 11 forum threads of chit-chat in order to psychologically monopolize my opponents (you fucking nutjobs) but I still had fun. I blew it off, trolled, and replaced out of games a lot, sorry for that. Too many people to name, but I still carry fond memories, so thanks for being so inclusive. I can also recall hopping into join.me servers back before Discord was a thing. Join.me, can you believe people used that shit? Looking back now, I can hardly believe how much time I spent doing gauntlets and stuff, it seems so foreign to me now. SanityLapse, JONALEON, GenesisSaga, vcharon, PrinceKaro, scarletspeed7, and surely far more people whose names currently escape me. Sorry for being such a brat 98% of the time I was like 15 haha. Thanks for the good times. And I have tons of memories of B8 Discord. I had some really great times in there. I was a little older, more confident, I'd found myself a bit more. Lots of fun nights hanging out in the voice channels (#thesquad) or just discussing nonsense in the chat. I remember lots of hilarious conversations with Steiner, gravy, Shad, Tera, Bane, Digi, cyclo, and surely dozens more of you lovely people. The liberal hivemind Discord clique, as Ulti once put it. Thanks a ton for all the good times, and allowing me to get more comfortable being unashamedly me. Despite being older and more confident, I was possibly less mature than ever. Not just the offensive language, I can recall being legitimately nasty at times. I feel like I bullied some people to an extent. Not like legit harassment, but I was certainly meaner than I should've been at times to people like JDTAY, Zyxxyz (is that your name?), ApplekidRose, and greengravy to name a few I can remember. If any of you are reading this, I'm sorry for being a dickhead. This is getting kind of long-winded. Truth be told, this was originally gonna be my bi-annual "YOU MUST PREPARE FOR THE COLLAPSE OF THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL SYSTEM BY PURCHASING PRECIOUS METALS AND DIGITAL ASSETS COMPLIANT WITH THE ISO20022 INTERNATIONAL BANKING STANDARDS FOR PAYMENTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: $XRP, $IOTA, $XDC, $ALGO, AND $XLM", but then I though nah that's kind of cringe and no one really cares anyway. So I decided to make a strolling down memory lane/thank you topic instead. I've been trying to show gratitude and appreciation more, they say it's one of the highest vibrations. I requested the publication requirement be waived so I didn't have to print it in the newspaper and the court records be impounded so no one but me and my lawyer could access it. Both were rejected because they demanded a "specific factual basis" i.e., someone that's already harassing me that I want to hide my identity from, rather than an increased risk of future discrimination. So that's a huge pain, and it's holding up my divorce agreement because we wrote that out using my new name and so can't file it until my name is actually changed. Getting divorced is also not great, I mean it's the most amicable divorce I've ever heard of and I've mostly come to terms with it but I know the day it goes through and I'm actually not married anymore, I'm gonna be a wreck. And like then I have to start all over with dating? I haven't "dated" in over 20 years and never as a woman/in a lesbian relationship, I'll be 40 soon and I don't know what the fuck I'm doing.
