I was going to go with an electric theme for today, but after Mimikyu's dominance we're sticking to ghosts!

Ghosties! We're only counting pokemon with a primary ghost type here, so those with secondary ghost typing like Frillish, G-Yamask and Golett will have to wait for another day. Partially this is to fit in the 10 slots and partially it's so dual typings don't show up in multiple polls in future.

I gotta give a shout out to Norowara here. It'd get my vote if only they hadn't cut it.

The first three are sooo good.

Galarian Corsola is like the saddest thing I've ever seen.

This one is tough... gonna need to think about it for a bit!

I love Misdreavus but Phantump is the best design-wise.

Evolved form is easy. This one, not so much. Gotta say Pumpkaboo, I think.

I like all of these, voted Yamask because I think Drifloon will get enough votes.

They're all very cute and pretty good designs. Nothing horrible here, and the worst is Shuppet which is still decent, if a bit bland. They all have really good evos as well. Ghosts definitely aren't my favourite type, though there's almost no bad designs outside of the typical ugly legendaries. Helps that there's almost none of them relative to others, but still!

None of the horrid under or overdesigns that plague a lot of others. Corsola-G looks utterly miserable and I want it to be loved. Misdreavus would be higher if I didn't spend about five years thinking its pearls were its mouth because it's barely visible in gen 4 and 5. Probably the worst-looking sprite relative to the base design in that era.

Drifloon for sure.

Always really liked Misdreavus a good bit. Nothing else stands out.

Misdreavus and mismagius have been some of my favorites for a while

Misdreavus looks the best but arguably Galarian Corsola has one of the best designs in all of Pokemon due to how depressing its concept is. It's just a super inspired 'dark comedy' joke that also just looks good.

I voted Pumkaboo.

Never played the newer games, but I'll admit that teacup is cute.

I like Pumpkaboo and Drifloon noticeably more than the rest.

Misdreavus is several tiers above the rest of the group. Must be in my top, like, 20ish maybe. I guess it helps that it was a standalone Pokemon for years before becoming an "unevolved" Pokemon. Though Mismagius is also one of my all time favorite evolved Pokemon.

Isnt Gastly primarily ghost? Itd be winning this thing if so.

As LotM said, this is just for two-stage lines. There are barely any 3-stage ghost lines so I'll have to find another way to get the Gastly line in a poll!

I'm joining the Drifloon gang today, though I'm also fond of Phantump and think most of these pokes are pretty cool. I now know what the anti-Mimikyu people must have felt yesterday though because I do not get the appeal of Misdreavus in the slightest!

G-Corsola is one of the best ideas they've come up with imo

never cared about misdreavus even though mismagius is toptier so i was honestly surprised to see its performance here. otherwise love everything from shuppet onwards. i'd have said otherwise for phantump before though (not that i disliked it, but i was fairly neutral) but currently i think it's great since i started playing it in unite and it's great (buff wood hammer tho)

still voted sandygast though, barely

Oh yeah, if you do 2-stage secondary Ghosts, don't forget Hisuian Zorua and Basculegion!

Yeah that's a thought, though I've been trying to choose polls that have a fairly even split across generations and that one would just be gen 1+5 lol. Might use that later on though, thanks!
