Like something like, a dude who all he can do is take a crumbled piece of paper and perfectly straighten/flatten it into regular paper... or whatever, mundane restoration. He uses it to keep his AC from breaking and his keyboard from getting sticky.

...I know, that's silly, but I'm insightful - not creative.

There are ones who have almost useless powers, but that's not their main power. It would be hard to be a superhero whose only power is useless, although you have people in those universes with useless powers.

There was a dude that had the power to be able to rip off his arm and beat people up with it. I believe he tried to join the Avengers or Justice League(can't remember if he was Marvel or DC), but got rejected because his power was so useless.

Arm Fall Off Boy. That was DC I think, in the Future setting. He tried to join the Legion of Super Heroes, which is the Justice League equivalent in the year 3000

It seems like with such super powers, such shows are parodying themselves. "Super" power, huh.

But it seems like a lot of the hero universes are getting kind of "meta" or self-deprecating lately. Not that I'm even very into them to really know, that is just how it has been seeming - I don't know why.

There's a few of them on Misfits. Like the chick that makes men want to rape her or something like that.

Joseph Joestar's stand is also fairly useless in combat, and only had one enemy to fight in Stardust Crusaders.

Super hero Comics usually focus on the people out fighting villains and saving people. So... the answer to your question is none

If someone is going to have an adventure without useful powers, they just write them as non powered people. I've never seen someone with a useless power who also had adventures. Every example I know of only exists to be a joke

Well, it's been some time, but in Misfits I think their powers were the result of an electrical storm or something. Only some of them were really beneficial. But anyway they were prisoners caught somewhere unfortunate during transport or whatever and I fricking forget the details.

Joseph was just kind of a shadow of his former self (he never even cared to use his powers to age gracefully like a regular hamon user), so they had to make him like that.

I mean, there's pretty much no such thing as a useless super power, since any "power" implies you now have something before that you didn't before. Hell, Doorman would be a really useful person to have for a bank robbery or something.

Now, fucking lame powers? Sure.

Now that I think about it, there's definitely some lesser monsters and heroes from One-Punch Man. I can't really think of anyone but like Hedoro Jellyfish right now, who's basically powerless but can engulf objects IIRC. But King definitely has no power but probably luck and an abnormally powerful heart, and he's the "strongest man on Earth".

No, you really can have crippling powers, whether they harm you or another.

Another female example is Kagerou from Basilisk. She exudes poison like all the time, uncontrollably. What this means is she cannot get intimate with anyone without causing them to die. So she is tormented by this sad state of affairs.

Tenzen from that same series is able to come back from death, but it drives him a little more insane every time. It causes him that much pain

The power to see really really far/zoomed in, but it's active all the time.

The power to change the color of objects, but only slowly a slight shade at a time (takes an hour to change from orange to yellow for instance, and the larger the object the longer it takes (the above is to change an orange to yellow).

The power to whisper long distance but only to somewhere you can see and you can't control the direction (it just continues forward in the direction your facing).

The power to change the channel on a tv without using a remote!!! (or alexa etc now).

The power to communicate with rabbits, but only if both the rabbit and you are drunk.

The power to fart out of your mouth.

The power to multiply your pee output allowing you to pee 3-4x as much as other men.

The power to control your partners moans/noises during sex.

The power to peel off wallpaper, but only if it's be applied in the last year. You can peel off wallpaper that is older then 1 year but it takes extreme concentration and causes massive migrains (each year of age over 1 has a 5% chance of causing an anurism that kills you).

The power to reverse the direction water flushes down a toilet.

The power to make an apple float or not float in a tub of water.

The power to erase a message on a chalk board without an eraser or touching it with your hands.

The power to reverse sneeze (you can pull the sneeze back in after sneezing if you do it right away).

The power the think outside the box, literally, if your inside a box you stop thinking at all and just stand there. If you are right NEXT to a box, you are much more creative and learn faster. If you are SURROUNDED by boxes, you actually are very smart indeed.

The power age faster, you can increase the rate you age at, but you can never decrease it afterwards.

The power to walk backwards as fast and in as much control as you walk forwards.

The power to feel emotions slowly, normal emotions, happiness, sadness etc, can be stretched out to last much longer than normal, but they are not as intense.

Alot of people think she is weak because of one of the x-men cartoons where she is basically being saved all the time etc.

In the comics she "mostly" avoids using the full strength of her power, but basically she could create a blast equal to a nucleor bomb (or larger) AND be immune to the blast herself (not sure if she can actually absorb a nuke that she doesn't make).

She also can make and control very small blasts including creating them inside someones head/heart etc, so in theory she could kill just about anyone, even someone who regens like wolverine (Because she should be able to make EVERY cell of wolverines body literally explode).

She could in theory be one of the most powerful mutants if her powers were fully realized (before she lost them etc).

I haven't heard of it. What was the title?

But I thought it was almost like Mutant X (at least in that it was one of the few non-Marvel group of young people with powers thing), except it's British, and can be found on Hulu. I really haven't watched that much tbh, but it's different all right.

Under DC, they started a streaming exclusive show that is going into its third season too, try to stick around after the Donkey Fart (Alan Tudyk is Brilliant as the opening season villain) .

I never read the comics myself, but there is an extensive catalogue going back to 1963.

But utility wise it was essential. Although I must say he handles himself better in his setting, than the average human does post Saiyan saga in Dragon Ball.

True, but that's to to my point, as those powers aren't "useless", just "crippling/detrimental." Always creating poison around you can have a use, after all, even if it's more of a burden 99% of the time.
