Only old school users would remember these services.... Then the new generation of instant messaging apps popped up with Facebook Messenger, SC, Discord and even people just texting on their phones.... I had AIM as well at some point, but it was mainly to talk to internet friends. These days it's Skype for friends, WhatsApp/Teams for work, Facebook messenger/SMS for older family, and Snapchat for some goddamn reason which is where all my 20-something year old cousins are. --- Props to azuarc, the current Guru of the Decade.
