So what I do is find two different overpriced Ps5 on Craigslist and tell them both to meet me at the same place and time. I tell them I'll give them and extra 100 to drive 2 hours to meet me. Then I tell them each other's cars so they know what to look for and when they show up, they're both selling a ps5 lol. It has worked 3 times already and one guy got sooooooo pissed.

I wish lol no I was just driving down a road I drive down everyday 4 times going to and from the baby sitter. I stopped at the stop sign looked and seen a car and my brain just went anyway. I was able to turn out of it last second but we still hit pretty good. My first wreck ever and I'm 27. Still feel like an idiot and I felt so bad because it was an older couple. I've been tired and stressed lately though just zoning out because I'm so tired.

just make sure that they're really trying to price gouge. sometimes people are just trying to sell one they don't want, or some other circumstance, ok?

i work from home, and am constantly in front of my pc, so i get ps5 stock alerts. i ended buying 5-6 consoles for myself and friends who couldn't get one due to their schedules. i ended up with one extra console, so i just sold it for a pinch above MSRP on ebay, ok?

i'm just saying, if one of these guys is just trying to get rid of a console, or changed his mind about keeping it, don't fuck them over. but anyone who selling for a stupid price, they deserve it, ok?

This is a good example of why people shouldn't sell anything on Craigslist. Not that I'm exactly sympathetic to scalpers, considering their arbitrage causes most of the supply chain issues.

Yeah! I wasnt fucking then over for shits and giggles and they knew what was happening. It wasnt wasting their time and money. They decided they can drive that far and get a fair deal for themselves, and they did.

Now that Im older Im amazed I could actually get the occasional person to pay me a late fee...most just chose to get to the location first and then Id get there two minutes later to avoid any late fees. I once arrived late and then charged myself a late fee...gave a dart board to them $10 off.

It's not impossible, but given that TC isn't actually meeting any of them, nor giving them any information that could be used to track him down, he's unlikely to face such risks.

unlikely, but its never smart to piss off strangers you dont know much about

I mean most of them are likely harmless but there are always outliers. If theyre willing to flip consoles for profit, what else are they okay with doing? Piss the wrong person off enough and theyll get creative in ways you dont expect

it just seems to me that nothing good actually comes from this but that it could instigate something regrettable. Someone could also react violently towards someone other than TC.

a lot of people also underestimate stuff like their location data and what apps/sites are displaying it, or how vulnerable they might be to social engineering from someone pretending to be someone else

I wasn't worried about TC hiding in his home. I was more worried about the people, they are tricking, might turn on each other, thinking the other party was pulling a fast one on them. If such a thing happened and someone was horribly injured or killed, then people might start looking for this TC that caused it.

I've seen some on ebay listing just PS5 boxes. In the title it will say READ THE DISCRIPTION. Which when you read it, it clearly states it is for just the PS5 box. But the thing had 7 bids on it already and was around $575. So if you are dumb enough to fall for it...hey more power to the seller for finding some really dumb people. And as they say a fool and his money are soon parted.
