People around the country are without electricity after the recent winter storm that came through the South and Northeast so has it affected anyone here.

This time of the year it's usually warmer in New England than it is in the interior.
We were supposed to get 1-3in, but it's 40F out so we're just getting rain.

In the sense that there is currently about 7-10 inches of snow on my driveway from last night, sure.

Other than that, not really. This working from home thing means I can pretty much do snow removal whenever I feel like it.

We had a buttload of snow last week, but nothing since. We are, however, expecting ice pellets turning into freezing rain today, which doesn't seem to be happening yet, but could be pretty nasty and a bunch of stuff has closed down preemptively.

I live in the pacific northwest so not really, no. There was a bit of a winter storm here last weekend but the snow was mostly melted by monday.

As much as it always does. Got to come into work at midnight to start plowing and now I'm back in the garage doing my normal job as a parts guy.

My area has been bad for over a week. I can't get to work, and I just lost power (but it's a rolling blackout).

We've been below zero (even during the daytime) for the last week so it pretty much cancelled all our work since we work outdoors. Just seen sitting in our work office reading books and dawdling on our phones. No heating problems or power failures to report.

Traveling has been fine - it's been too cold for the snow to melt and so nothing to re-freeze.

Under normal circumstances the snow would have resulted in me either being stuck home or having to shovel my way out, but basically avoiding ever leaving the house unless I absolutely have to to avoid Covid means I've basically just ignored the snow until it melted on its own.

I mean I've got a good 8 or so inches at least last night. But I work from home so no reason it's actually affected me. So I guess I'd have to say no.

Yep, had to shovel like 5 times already this year, the piles are about a good 5 feet tall

About 1.5-2 feet in the lawn though

Public transport stopped running for a day but I didn't need it on that day anyway. Other than that nothing changed.
