Very important point as well. Again, if ER/call is disappointing this could absolutely happen. This is another trade you need to treat long term. You seem to have your mind settled with holding crypto long term, you should trade warrants the same way. Personally, I only sell warrants on the explosive moves.

So yeah, I will sell and get back if it explodes after ER/call/any potential news. And gladly buy more if it dips to juicy prices like .40 again.

Just don't Moonroof this one up and panic sell.

I mean you couldn't even hold TRVN through a loss of less than 10% (you'd be up over 25% right now if you'd held until now) I just see this not ending well. Getting shook out at a 5 cent drop a few days before it jumps 30.

Im Hold Master Flux ever since AMC

I held AVCTW with a .70 average, with it being 80% of my portfolio at the time, all throughout it dipping as low as .22. Just bought more when it was under .30 and eventually got to a .50 average. Held for like 5 months before they came back and went as high as .94 before settling where they are now. That's why my account went as low as 15k all the way back up to 64k.

AVCT has been a good teacher for me on long term investments. But I'm ready for it to become my money maker in due time.

@Lopen Strike price on GSMG warrants is indeed 11.50. Also warrants trade at 1/2 prices, unlike AVCT warrants which trade at 2. Discord tells me that if the warrants were following commons accurately right now, they'd already be at 40 cents. Definitely loading back up there very soon.

I don't think that's how it works, no. Warrants have an intrinsic value relative to the stock but I don't think 1/2 warrants means they're worth half of the common stock, it's just 1/2 relative to the standard 1:1 warrant agreement that warrants usually trade at.

I think that's right anyway. I'm new to this too so I just rely on the discord peeps for these things. Either way, if they're bullish on something, it's probably a good bet!

The upside is actually a lot lower with that formula. I mean if it breaches $11.50 you're going to make a ton of money either way but the value of the warrant would basically scale at (X - $11.50)/2 rather than (X - $11.50). So if it hits say $17.50 your warrants would be worth $3 not $6

At least I think that's how it works? Correct me if I'm wrong.

It went down from 55 to 48 because JP Morgan decided to kill it. Gave like 3 or 4 downgrades to $KO. I want to believe it was a bullshit move and we will see tomorrow

I feel KO is undervalued. Where I'm hesitant with investing in it is that the rate of return for such a big, established, company might not match some of the stellar rates we're seeing with smaller companies nowadays.

Basically copy pasted this and the discord confirms its correct. So yes, at $17.50 the warrants would be worth $3. IEA warrants also trade at 1/2.

Another reason AVCT warrants are so damn appealing and my favorite warrant play.

Safer strat

Divide your funds between these equally

Blocks of 100 shares of FUBO
Blocks of 100 shares of FSR
ATHX shares
TRVN shares
BP 1/23 calls ($20 strike)

Each week sell covered calls of FUBO and FSR to get passive income. Put the money gained from those aside. Eventually get a long call of FUBO and FSR per block of 100 you have to give yourself moon insurance. (do FUBO first)

BP and TRVN will double in value in the next year. ATHX could stagnate or go 10x. FUBO and FSR could go way up but you're just abusing those for covered call money.

It's held stable in the $40 range after that correction. Think it's a fairly safe buy right now. You would want to be aggressive with call selling with it though. Like if you buy at $44 sell the call for $44.

Yeah I currently have 200 shares bought at $45.50 average. Have made about $500 from sold calls having only held them for about a week. Will make a lot more if it finishes this week under $44.

Is FSR actually profitable? I think my broker charges like $13 to sell an option and $25 if it is exercised which means the proceeds from a 100 share call would have to be minimum $40 to be at all profitable, and a lot higher to be worth it for the investment on the shares.

Or do you not have these options fees?

Questrade, I think the default is $9.95 per trade +$1 per contract, plus another $25 fee if it ends up being exercised

I need to do some more research on other brokers but for the most part, I don't think this too unusual in Canada, and most brokers require a higher balance than I can front to even get started (like $25k or some shit)

All of those top ones are up still pre-market. This has been the pattern for a while. Could be an easy way to make quick gains.

Square and DraftKings are on my radar for next ER stocks (reporting week of 2/22). So if you want to get in on them before the hype, now is the time. SQ seems better than DKNG but I dont know. I think theyll both go up.

Finally breaking even on ITHUF after being in the red since buying it during the Covid crash. At least I should probably have longterm tax treatment whenever I decide to unload it.
