I'm looking at the titles in my Youtube feed. I don't get it. This show has one of the most diverse casts you can find. You got spanish, asian, black, white, girls, boys, thin people, fat people, young people, old people. What are they complaining about now?

There's a lot of dated and regressive stuff Johnny says, even though the character is supposed to be an aging, out-of-touch asshole. I can see why people would look beyond that and figure the show itself had those beliefs.

Frankly, there are probably sensationalized videos and articles that can be made for just about everything. Just ignore it as clickbaity and move on.

This series was always mediocre. Its fanboys hyping it as the best series on TV makes me believe the current quality of television is trash compared to 15 years ago

I haven't heard anything about it. Even the 'SJW hellhole' ResetEra that this site always complains about seems to be positive about the show.

Compared to anti sjws who went after the Star Wars sequels, Terminator Dark Fate, Captain Marvel, Charlie Angels (2019), Ghostbusters (2016), Watchmen HBO show, The Last of Us Part II, etc. Not even close.

By villain I'm assuming he means Krese but I wouldn't rule out early Johnny saying something like that.

Either way Sam and Tory are clearly shown to be very good fighters.

I would guess how the kids were using and abusing the idea of a safe space when the teachers were mitigating the conflict. But realistically it could be anything. Don't expect rationality from sjws.

They were complaining about lack of Asian people iirc and not much else, but I mean they tried. Miyagi's dead both IRL and in show and most of the others either didn't want to work on the show regularly or they couldn't contact, so it's more like they're just kinda in the situation. In reality though I think there's even a few Asian students that got a decent amount of time.

Also, Kreese is the Villain and was basically using weaponized political correctness to show how much of a double-edged sword it could be to people who know how to game the system, and how it can leave the actually helpless even more helpless.

It was actually really well done and I think they were purposefully trying to get the SJWs to complain.

This is why I stick to only watching older shows.

It's a show about the struggles of 2 middle aged white guys that not only has been well received, it revitalized an old series in a way their preferred projects can't while also having a diverse cast. They'd invent things to complain about it at that point.

Then it went and said that while Johnny needs a lot of edges sanded off, he did more for those kids than all the trigger warnings and safe spaces the school offered. Without Kreese some of the worse elements might even have been reigned in.

You're not allowed to write transphobic characters because that just means the writer is transphobic and should be cancelled.

When I Google 'Cobra Kai Complaints' I just get a bunch of positive buzz and even a site called 'Common Sense Media' gave it a good rating.

When I google 'Cobra Kai SJW' I get "SJW's are now targetting Cobra Kai' video and sites with these two headlines

I've seriously never come across any of this shit in any of my feeds. I don't doubt that a lot video essays and tweets are calling out certain trivial issues (not just in the show, but in everything), but it's not hard to avoid stuff like that, nor is it as widespread as it's made out to be.
