I'm finishing FF7R while also playing Hades and sometimes my muscle memory went awry and I try to dash around on FF7R using the X button...

Or try blocking enemies' attacks using R on Hades.

Funny little moments but not so funny when it costs me my run lol.

So yeah, are you playing multiple games nowadays?

I have been playing multiple games at the same time for pretty much the entire time that I have played video games.

If you want specifics, here are the games that I have been playing in the past week:
Rocket League
Apex Legends
The Gardens Between
Rogue Galaxy
Tales From the Borderlands
Republique
Quantum Break

I'll only play one single player game at a time, but could have multiple multiplayer games going at any time

I was playing Hollow Knight and Dark Souls at the same time, which lead to me trying to attack with square in DS and drinking potions at very bad times

I have a hard time with it, I couldn't juggle Valhalla and Miles Morales due to the different combat mechanics. I also struggled with Astro's Playroom because I couldn't seem to invert the camera and it kills me to play a non-inverted game alongside a game that I can play inverted.

Yeah, this is the same for me, although I try to limit it to one multiplayer game at a time.

My friends and I have been on a Fall Guys, Apex, Rocket League cycle that we switch between whenever we get bored of a game.

In terms of single player, I do it both for the muscle memory thing, and also because it has helped me tremendously when it comes to actually finishing games and clearing my backlog. When I was young, I'd play half a dozen games at once and never actually finish them. Now, I either beat or drop a game before moving on to the next one.

I tend not to play more than two games simultaneously because I will eventually lose the motivation to keep playing at least one of them.

The only time i've ever really done the 2 game thing is if one is like an RPG and the other is an online shooter or fighting game.

this is how it goes for me. if a single player game sucks me in, it's like reading a book- i don't wanna start reading a new book until i finish the first one. if i do switch early, it's pretty much guaranteed i'm never going back to finish the first one- it wasn't good enough to hold my attention in the first place

thankfully, single player games generally have a beginning and end. i fill the gaps with alternatively competitive and chill/grindy/coop games

You did indeed stab me in the back. However, you are only level one, whilst I am level 50. That means I should remain uninjured.

Playing multiple single player games at the same time is an absolutely guaranteed way to ensure that I never finish one of the games, no matter how much I enjoy them.

As far as single player games I usually have a PS4 and PC game going at the same time. Then I have a bunch of multiplayer games but I don't know why I play most of them honestly.

Hades definitely messed with my muscle memory for awhile. I kept trying to open doors in Animal Crossing with R and instead got the keyboard to pop up.

I usually have two main single player games going, most often from different genres. Occasionally I'll have a third or fourth I play when I don't want to play the other two.

I don't have a hard limit on how many games I play at the same time, though I typically try to cap out at around 3 to stay somewhat focused. That said, I almost never play more than one of the same genre at the same time, since that's where my muscle memory starts to get mixed up.

Funny, I'd think playing multiple games at once takes more discipline to keep them all going! Just going home every day and brainlessly turning on the same game out of habit feels easier. Personality types, I suppose
