there have been a few differences seen but yeah, Trump is going for the Wayne County situation that almost happened in the other states too. redsox this topic has been mainly talking about the technicalities of it all, not supporting it or believing they'll happen (and has explicitly said otherwise in this particular topic). that technicality's kind of important, since even though he's currently 1/25 in courts he really does just need one. won't get it, but that's the game.

It's been 12 days since Justice Alito's order, and it's crickets from SCOTUS about the PA late-arriving mail ballots case. I feel like they're setting up for dismissing the case as moot/unable to impact the results.

definitely going for moot. Trump on the other hand will rely on the Georgia differences mattering i think. they've got 2 more counties saying they've found discrepancies, number up to over 3000. this though matches with what we told would happen in the first place: there would be missing ballots, there would be fraud, there would be mistakes, but the results are an accurate enough representation for the presidency. still, he's gonna rely on number of counties and number of votes - not that they're his votes but just total period - and try a hail mary on that one the most. he won't have anything else soon.

sounds about right. he makes a big enough clusterfuck in enough areas that it's hard to undo them all until 2 years out. obama was tactical with what he wanted that'd be difficult to fix (e.g., DACA), trump isn't nearly as smart or politically savvy so shotgun approach it is. unfortunately for trump things are likely to resolve much faster than he expects because biden isn't really biden, he's the DNC + billionaire donors, lots of corporations will line up just fine. man's a figurehead more than not and is more of a collective character so there's enough hands and minds to unfuck everything short of war and give him a pass for 2024 by blaming trump.

Since the ballots have already been removed from the secrecy envelopes, that's all they can do. It certainly is a lot less draconian than throwing out 100% of the mail votes, which is what they were asking for earlier.

No, they're saying that sometimes people make mistakes in submitting a mail ballot, like forgetting to sign or something. And that they expect the rate for such mistakes to be approximately the same across Trump and Biden voters. I'm not sure if they are or aren't alleging fraud in addition - they keep saying different things.

That said, a 10% error rate is way beyond the realm of the plausible.

Liability shields are needed because companies are going to be destroyed and the legal system flooded with claims. It has already been reported the amount is astronomical already.

Incorrect.

It says it wasn't until that time later that someone was said to have heard him confessing he killed the cop.

He was arrested right away for the crime. His weapon was at the scene unchambered. A bullet from his gun was in the cop.

There was inconsistencies in the court case due to the judge presiding. However, to my knowledge, their newly claimed defense years later was that a mob hitman killed the cop during the fracas. Not the man convicted for killing the cop that was having a physical confrontation with that man's brother over an arrest. The own brother didn't defend him as innocent in the case to my knowledge until 20 years later.

There was multiple witnesses that stated he murdered the cop including witness to him standing over the cop and shooting him in the head executing him.

Either way, there hasn't been really any compelling evidence beyond conspiracy theories to the innocence from an evidentiary standpoint. People just question the process that led to his conviction, moreso than the facts of the case itself.

They're apparently also claiming they were "bullied and intimidated" into making their votes by the public calling them out on their shit and calling them racist, and now they're trying to take legal action to attempt to delay/stop any further votes to certify.

Learned a lot from their party leadership: Cry about how "unfairly" you've been treated, then sue sue sue and hope something sticks.
