Iv lived in Minnesota my whole life and all the worst stuff I've seen in terms racism occurred when i visit Wisconsin.

I remember at an outdoor Slipknot concert there were various food vendors. one of the vendors was black and selling chicken and these white guys walk buy and start yelling the n word really loud at the black people. it was unreal.

I mean, outside of the twin cities and college towns, the rest of Minnesota is pretty racist too.

Even in the major cities there's a lot of racism surrounding Hmong people.

there is but i dont think theres hate crime against hmong people. iv never seen/heard of any Minnesota. I think Chai Vang was in Wisconsin when those white hunters used racial slurs at him and things got outta hand

i mean Minnesota aint perfect but id like to believe we are at least better than wisconsin.

thats a bit overkill they mustve had some event for somali people when that video was recorded.

but i will say time has changed in the sense MN has more diversity now than it ever has.

In the past few years, Minnesota has been the source for MULTIPLE incidents inciting major BLM protests (including the most recent BLM protests over the death of George Floyd), and it's not like Minnesota even has that large of a population. Granted, I can see why you're trying to show shade at Wisconsin when your own state is has been so firmly tied to allegations of racism. It's Deflection 101.

Let's be honest, America at its core is racist and has been since the formation of those colonies so it's not just one particular place. During the Great Migration when Southern Black people began their exodus to the North looking for better economic opportunities, they thought the North wasn't racist but they found out the North was just as racist as those places they were fleeing in the South but racism in the North was just done differently and more subtle.
