This one pisses me off the most. It is like Ryan said.. what can I do to make sure that Finn and Phasma look irrelevant .

They had the opportunity to bring the three back together, but didn't because JJ wanted his "mystery box."

Luke should have manned the fuck up after he found out his best friend Han Solo was killed, not to mention how it would effect his sister to lose her husband.

The scene should have not been deleted, and Chewbacca also should have given him a talk or motivated him into manning the fuck up.

Han's death is just another travesty to add to the list in this entire new trilogy. Essentially shanked to death in a back alley by his dopey kid. The coolest guy in Star Wars went out like a chump instead of as a hero.

I thought Harrison Ford said hed come back but only on the condition that Han Solo be killed. I wonder what they had to do to get him back for Rise of Skywalker.

Luke died like a chump too, as did Ackbar who most did not even know was killed off screen in TLJ.

None of the OT heroes got acceptable deaths, if your going to kill a character give them a worthy send off.

i think she knew they weren't real, the same way she knew Luke's forehead kiss wasn't real.

don't get me wrong, I think all this was a waste of time, but with the dice in her hand I think she knew they weren't real. They fade out after the rebels flee the base, so they were never real to begin with. It's stupid - but not wholly unreasonable - to consider that they were never in the Crait base to begin with.

He probably reconsidered after Carrie Fisher's death due to the complications it caused in the story. She was originally meant to play a larger role in ROS.

There's already another scene of Luke moping in the Falcon, which has a lot more going on for it. This is just a boring 17 second shot of Luke hanging his head. Its completely understandable why this scene was cut.

Who knows really. I would have liked to see this scene in the movie personally but knowing how people are if it WAS in the movie people would have found some reason to hate it.

Like how its not any credit to Rian for even doing this scene in the first place. Hes just an idiot for not including it. Haters cant even give credit for the scene being good without having some reason to hate Rian at the end of the day.

That's a completely unrelated scene. Its also much more eventful and impactful to the characters than the other (again, completely unrelated) scene.

Real deal, it was a tremendous fucking mistake not to give Luke and Han screentime together. Even if it was a pre-title sequence set a few years before the start of the movie, they should have had time together.

Oh, but that would have meant Luke would have had to say something and that would have spoiled the whole ambience of "Holy shit, it's Luke Skywalker!" at the end of the movie. Yeah, that camera rotation was totally worth pissing away a chance at a reunion after three decades.

Luke never should have run away like a little bitch in the first place. His dad was one of the most evil men in history and he never gave up on redeeming him. He stood up to his dad's even more evil master. But his nephew has a few naughty thoughts so he wants to murder him in his sleep? Then he lets his nephew kill everyone when he could have easily stopped it.

Even Mark Hamill was pissed off about the whole thing and would publically trash the movie and the director u til Disney told him to shut up because he was still under contract. Now that he is free? Expect him to start ripping to pieces what was done to Luke at some point in the future.
