Seems that I already lost my Symphogear account. I get an unexpected error whenever I try entering the game from the title screen and since they use the shitty transfer code system I'm pretty much screwed as I didn't generate one. I put through a support ticket so we'll see how it goes. If not then nothing of value lost. I'll just wait for Seven Deadly Sins to release.

The app restarts and I still get the error. I tried clearing the cache from the support menu on the title page, restarted my phone, and cleared the cache of the app in my phone settings.

This is odd, the event in Arknights right now is supposed to unlock challenge maps for certain stages (GT-HX series) once you clear the normal versions with 3 stars, but I've done that and the challenge maps aren't appearing. I even redid the maps with auto-deploy to make absolutely certain I got 3 star clears.

Not sure if I'm looking in the wrong place or if there was some other requirement I didn't complete.

However, in reading the guide, I unfortunately have to correct something I said before: The difference between a max limit broken character and a character with fewer limit breaks is actually way bigger than I initially thought. Limit unlocking, which adds 10 entire levels to a character's maximum, is only available to max limit broken characters. So the max level for limit unlocked characters is 70, while for fewer limit breaks, you're sitting somewhere in the 50's, which gives whales who can spend big and max limit break multiple great characters a big advantage in PvP.

On the bright side, a lot of people are saying that the game's pretty generous with the gacha currency, so hoarding a ton of song stones for a while to try and max limit break one character all in one fell swoop might make it possible for a free player to keep up in PvP. Plus, it sounds like there's very little PvE content where these extra levels would make a big difference in whether you can clear it or not, and a lot of fans (myself included) are mostly playing this game for the side stories to expand on the characters that we already enjoyed in the anime, so PvP isn't a big deal to us to begin with.

Doesn't seem to make any difference, and I *know* I saw prompts in the upper-right corner telling me the challenge maps had been unlocked, but I can't actually find or access the damn things.

...Huh, apparently there's challenge versions of the main story maps as well, but I can't access those either. Starting to think I *have* missed some kind of other requirement that's blocking the feature across the entire game.

Let's try going further in the main storyline, maybe I just haven't seen the "challenge mode tutorial/authorization" cutscene yet.

Good to know, thanks.. I decided to just reroll and it happened again to my 2nd account. Rerolled a 3rd time and finally got a transfer code. Haven't touched the settings yet on this account. Hopefully they fix it because notification are annoying.

The best answer would be "a 5* of whichever girl you think is best girl".

From what I heard, none of the 5* characters we have at launch are good enough that they'll be relevant in PvP 4-6 months down the line, so you may as well go for waifu over meta. But if you don't have a best girl picked out and/or really want to make your life a bit easier for the first couple months, then "Hibiki Style: Twin Phoenix" Hibiki is the best one of the batch from what I've heard. "Heaven's Wrath" Tsubasa, "EMPRESS REBELLION" Maria, and both versions of Chris are also pretty strong. "Ex-: Forbidden Full Moon" Shirabe has a niche of being one of the very few characters that can revive fallen teammates, which could be useful in a really tough battle, but she's not very useful beyond that. If you're an Attack On Titan fan, then you could maybe go for one of the collaboration event units, but they're also not going to be meta-relevant in half a year, and they'll also be much tougher to limit break/unlock due to their limited nature.

Speaking of limit breaking/unlocking, if you pull several copies of a 4* character and can limit break/unlock them, they could be just as useful as any of the launch 5* characters if you aren't lucky enough to pull any duplicates for those. Sadly, I haven't seen any posts/guides pointing out any really noteworthy 4* characters yet. I'l let you know if I see one at some point.

Ok I'm finally done with monster Hunter collaboration.

I bought out the whole store and got every rare raid boost and I leveled 9 characters to level 100 using nothing but battle xp in the process (thanks bronze fafnirs)

I now have every Shadow character at level 100 except for Cassandra and of the fire characters, I've got Naveed, Ezelith, Euden, Aoi, Xania, and Renelle

Nope, turns out I was correct, you must indeed clear a certain story map (2-8) before Challenge Mode unlocks across the game.

Now to see if I can get the event ones finished in time, given that it was tricky enough clearing them on Normal, or how I sometimes get sidelined by needing to build up a specific operator, assuming I even have the ones that some guides suggest. (I don't have Cardigan for example.)

Yeah I've finally finished grinding and going for the challenge runs as well. I can beat the first challenge with some serious last minute ditch deployment for stragglers.

For the first one, I field 3 vanguards with Siege in the middle (I think Vigna or Texas would also work here) and try to deploy as many rangers as I could starting from the bottom/middle then bottom then top. But the timing is very very narrow, and Siege eventually almost dies while the other 2 vanguards can't hold all the units fast enough, but by then I would've gathered enough DP to deploy a tank in their stead

2nd one just feels like a pure dps test. I've succeeded a test run round and then failed a for real round multiple times... I think it depends on how much dodge I get on my vanguards and my robots. Also I need Bunny's Eyja but she doesn't come up every time I try T-T. Still trying with different layouts but very inconsistent because I don't have a great mage built up

I definitely can't do the 3rd one without a lot more level on my Siege as it'll largely depend on how well she can hold by herself. Her not being E2'd also means my DP income is lower than some strats I've seen online.

Yeah she's amazing, but I'm pretty sure you have her on E2 considering her portrait, yet the support version I get to use is locked to E1 lvl 66 and on her 1st skill. I dunno if I have to unlock something or upgrade a part of a base or another, but even at her E1 lvl 66 form, she vastly outperforms my current mages.

She looks so cool doing Volcano though. She's on the top of my wish list but I really can't afford to raise another 6* lol

Hmmm...That's weird. She's level 42 E2 right now. I'm gonna check to see if I need to update supports manually then, because I hate when that's the case (like in GFL where the levels and equipment don't update)

It shows her as she is, but I re-assigned her just in case. I wonder if that means that Lappland is still only like level 50 <_<

Hopefully that fixed things. Volcano Eyja should be way more helpful than just her first skill lol

Also, fun fact I learned from Tectone: Eyjafjallajkull is an ice cap that covers a volcano in Iceland, which is likely where she gets her name and skill :D

Nah your support isn't the only one. I see other support units that have E2 art but are locked at E1 lvl 66. I dunno what's the req to get the actual version but I doubt there's anything you can do on your end. Maybe I need to upgrade my office or reception room

Also lvl 42 E2 is insane lmao. The highest I got is a lvl 80 E1 SilverAsh that I need to farm stuff to upgrade

You just need to upgrade one of the bases. It should say which one on the screen to select support units

So I was able to get my third support slot :D

I put my level 63 E1 Texas in slot 2 because she has a level 7 Sword Rain and she's fully promoted, so I think she's more practical than my 6 star units. And I moved Eyja to the third slot, so hopefully she'll be able to be at her full power there :3

Finally cleared challenge HX-3 with a fairly F2P team (with the exception of Projekt Red).

Tried copying a general strat on a video I saw online, but the team composition was so different it always resulted in me failing. I ended up abandoning the idea and making my own plan instead, it took me 19 tries before I finally beat it.

The trio of Grani + Fang + Courier is freaking MVP in my game. There are truly no bad operators in this game, everyone carried their weight equally including the E0 Estelle lol.

If I remember right, Support units are capped by how strong your most powerful unit is, so it's possible that if someone doesn't have at least one E2 of their own, they can't use anybody else's.

It may also apply to Support slots in general; If you only have the first slot, you can only use other people's first slot.

Actually managed to pull it off with a sub-optimal squad too, the guide had Courier and Gavial at E1 60 but mine were only E1 55, I also totally messed up reassigning their skills so they went in with their first ones instead of their second. I think in the end trust levels made the difference.

Phew, don't think I need to worry about farming knight coins anymore either, only thing left to trade for seems to be E2 promotion materials but those don't do me any good right now when all of my *5-6 aren't at even E1 yet, or how I keep getting stone-walled with leveling between promotions. (Took nearly everything I had just to E1 50+ the operators I needed for this event.)

Im actually not far enough in the story for that, so eh.

Also, my Aigis account is basically that. Not necessarily a low-level run, but a high rarity, low-level run.

Like this old video where I dont have anyone awakened and subsequently took me many more tries than necessary. Also, Makai maps (halved DP gain speed) suck.

Yeah I cleared them all recently as well. The 3rd challenge ended up being a lot easier than I initially thought, but it was also mostly due to getting my SilverAsh to E2, but I think I would've done it regardless, mostly due to using a much better strat that doesn't require a strong early DP pool. Had time to spare to kill the last guy too

No, Exusiai was from my initial 6* pull they let you do. My SilverAsh was from a random roll after about 50 pulls of almost no 5*+. I also got a Siege from a Top Operator tag.

It's surprisingly easy to get rolls. Weekly, you get 1200 from missions and 1600 from Annihilation, so in 2 weeks you get approximately a full roll. It's been about 2 months since release

For all the materials, a great majority of them came from this event
