The problem is that these Pokmon have to be good for these moves to help. Topsy Turvy is a pretty good move in theory, but it's stuck on Malamar so it never sees any use.

Also wow can we call protective services and have Ice types removed from Game Freak's custody? They made Mr. Rime slower and doubled its still mostly pointless Attack. If Galarian Mr. Mime kept its Kanto Speed, I bet it's the better of the two with Eviolite.

And I'm surprised Galarian Rapidash didn't have its Atk and SAtk switched. Maybe it'll get some new horn-based Fairy or Psychic signature move.

Annoying that some of the best TMs have been "downgraded" to the breakable TRs, so you gotta grind out the Watts if you want to teach Ice Beam or Thunderbolt to multiple Pokemon.

Razor Shell, Mystical Fire, Rock Blast, and Icicle Spear are among the new TMs.

Max Raid battles probably are a lot more boring than they originally seemed, since at least two of the three legendaries have signature moves meant for killing Dynamax Pokemon. Everyone's just gonna take those into the raids to get through them quicker.

Even without a 100BP move that doubles damage against Dynamax Pokemon, you already would have been able to take your level 100 and/or legendary Pokemon into raids to grind easily. These moves don't change anything in that regard.

Regular raid spots give 200W and shining spots give 2000W. Most TRs that we've seen cost between 2000-8000W.

He said that he never found any G-Max raids while checking for them every time. So either they're stupidly rare, or they're linked to online play.

Well it's already been confirmed that they'll be linked to online play. GF confirmed a raid event lasting from launch until January that makes them more common. And the Pokemon include version exclusives so you may be only able to raid with the same version? At least those Pokemon?

Hopefully they patch in the GTS too if it's really missing. That's a huge oversight.

That's what I meant. A lot of time online features aren't present before the actual release. I have no idea how Gamefreak or the leaker is handling the specifics of the game and it doesn't matter. I'd just expect all the online stuff to go live or be there when the game is actually played online.

In the past games though, I'm pretty sure it just prompted you to connect online after selecting the GTS. The odds of the menu layout changing when you go online are pretty low I'd say.
