I was all ready to spend some orbs on L!Celica's banner, and then the New Year's heroes got datamined from the update overnight.

It finally happened. Anna got an alt!

As it happens, one of my free summon tickets gave me a +Atk Edelgard, so I will happily take that and sit on my orbs for another week.

Glorious Gifts was being a pain to me. Got to 4.50ish pity rate and needed to dip into my "safe". Fortunately I managed to pull Winter Nino

....and literally four 3*s next to her because that's what I get for thinking something else could show up with a rate like that.

...But I still got what I want(And she wasn't even -Atk/Spd!) so I'm satisfied.

Merry Christmas! Those four unit banners are brutal sometimes, but it's nice that you got one. It took most of my orbs to get a Sothis there.

I got a neutral Celica with 50 orbs. Legendary banners have been treating me pretty well lately.

i got my first Valbar and Tanya with my free tickets. nothing else of note. had spent all my orbs going for Elincia on the special banner that just ended - got two Sanakis, dupe Pent and dupe Lilina. good fodder on the latter two at least though i don't have any immediate plans to use those skills.

Merry Christmas! I got Roy and Edelgard shortly after summoning on new banner. In scrambling mode again to get orbs and hopefully have enough to get Celica or Thrasir. Being low on orbs sucks :(

It only took almost 3 years for Anna to get an alt, still one of the biggest mysteries of this game. I also find it humorous the sibling duo is slow af

Decided to open the vault and drop way too many orbs on the Christmas banner on a whim. My results...

An early Brave Ephriam pitybreak. Special Fighter fodder for Winter Jaffar.

Petra(+Def/-Res)

Ishtar(+Atk/-Hp) Last one was -Spd so I sacced her to Nino. Might keep this one around.

Another Winter Nino (+Atk/-Spd but you're getting merged baby girl!)

Perceval(+Spd/-Atk) who was right next to W!Nino. Lol.

And finally Winter Sothis(+Hp/-Res)

Really happy with Sothis and the Nino merge.

Don't have an immediate use for Ground Orders so Petra gets to stay.

Not sure what I want to do with Perceval. Ishtar is whatever.

Now to hope I don't get the urge to summon for... 6 months?

At least you got Nino and Sothis out of it. Petra is probably useful enough in arena assault with the beast effective weapon.

My orbs are also pretty low now, but this New Year's banner is a pretty easy skip.

Happy New Year everyone!

Started the year off with a 4* Clarine. On the same banner Fallen Berkut graced me with his presence(+Rees/-Spd). Next circle I got a 5* Mercedes(+Def/-Atk). And a Legault, one more to go!

About 30-40ish orbs I got a neutral Duo Alfonse. Awesome, I think that's a fitting IV considering the regular Ask trio is always neutral as well.

Didn't get Cynthia in Pokemon Masters in the 30k gems I'd saved up. Got a +Atk -Def Anna in FEH for 8 orbs.

I got a Ranulf (+Atk -Spd), and OG Celica off of the free tickets. Celica will be merged, but I don't have much use for Ranulf.

Guess who finally had his final copy come home!

Legault... Ah! You... Youre the Hurricane? Second in ability to none but the Four Fangs?

His last copy was the one I pulled on his debut banner, ironically the exact opposite of his perfect IVs (+Res/-Spd) I'll grind him out on Friday. Maybe teach the -Spd one some skills so he can save my +Spd the sp. Not that I really know what to give to him right now but....

Well colorless depreciated in value for me now, though I guess I could try for 5 more Mercedes?

But all my immediate projects have their merges(Outside of W!Jaffar who isn't in the shop yet). Feels nice, but also weird that there's not a unit I'm gunning for(Outside of certain seasonals that will take months upon months to return/be worth bothering over).

Might try for Distant Ward fodder for Lloyd.

Nice. I'm still looking for two more Legaults. I settled on an atk boon copy. The only premium skill mine has is the Red-Hot Ducks dagger, but I have a spare Legendary Eirika for Atk/Spd Solo that may go toward him.

Too bad she's getting fed to Lloyd regardless. Wouldn't have minded a -Atk this one time.

My orbs got me two Edelgard and a +Res/-Spd Thrasir, and I was tempted to go back to try for another Thrasir or Celica, but was low on orbs and didn't think I'd find too much value out of a third Edelgard. Then I spent some more orbs and got pitybroken by Mercedes before I got Marth. Thank god Marth came around right afterwards, or I would have been so pissed because Mercedes is probably the worst colorless pitybreaker right now

I like how they didn't make OG Eir a bonus TT unit to get people to spend on the banners :/

We won't know for sure until the datamine. They may have just forgot to specifically state that the skill isn't inheritable in the skill description itself. There have been several prf specials that didn't specify.

We don't know if it is inheritable since the labelling is inconsistent. There are instances in previous videos where the special can not be inherited but it doesn't say that in the video.

Got Larcei on the next circle after my tickets ran out. +Spd -Atk, but honestly she has so much built-in damage in her kit that the -Atk is more irritating than damaging really.

Yeah if this was gen 1-2, -Atk would be devastating. Units are more IV proof these days.

Looks like they killed the Hot Springs banner. It got replaced by a regular banner that oddly has a Tempest Trial attached to it.

Guessing the Hot Spring banner didn't get a warm reception from people(Random theme, Fates royal shilling, terrible Camilla art)

Shit. Part of me wants to waste orbs trying to pull Elise but literally trying for a red focus on a four man banner....

The Hot Springs banner always felt like a one-off to me. I think people only expected a new one because they're so accustomed to seasonal banners repeating year-on-year. The same probably goes for the Picnic banner. I doubt we'll be seeing any more of those kinds of one-shot seasonal banners this year with a brand new game to release characters from to fill in the calendar with.

I think my favorite part about the game was the alts more than just a FEH version of a regular unit. I would much rather have my fav characters appear as weirdly dressed special editions.

But I am def in the minority on that

Part of me is still surprised Nino and Jaffar got Christmas alts.

Neither are lords and while Nino is highly popular for a non Lord, they could have easily bullshitted another Lyn/Hector/Eliwood alt.
