I use Elwin as a core unit and he or Ledin Faction buff depending on if the former needs two dispels or not.

Although now youve got me realizing I can really lean into Princess faction, huh

Something I have forgotten about is rolling for better enchantments on my gear. A lot of those bonuses are super helpful. I eventually rolled a 10% Magic Defense on Luna that made her a lot more powerful.

Yeah I drew the wrong conclusion based on the units you had mentioned previously. You have the ideal Princess team, and I'm not as familiar with the Legion of Glory stuff, but it sounds like you have a good team there too.

How in the world is anyone expected to beat this new Summer Event story? You can't do any damage to the awful water enemies and they just pull and kill anyone outright.

No idea how you beat this. My defensive Freya can't soak up enough damage either. This is a mess.

With Tiaris my Freya was able to handle things pretty well, but I'm not sure what you do exactly without her.

Well, my crew was Matthew, Almeda, Varna, Luna, and Freya.

I have maybe Imelda, Shelfaniel, Chris, and Egbert that could sub in though that do magic damage.

I'm also stuck on Elite 5-7. The team of three mages at the end just nuke me hard and I don't have the team make up to get through the enemies before it and also them. It's really stunted my progress right now.

Aha! I actually solved why I was having that issue with the danger zone tricking me. It looks like the display doesn't work quite right for certain movement abilities (especially Move Again) and won't update the enemy's threatened squares when you move like normal. It happened to me just now and I went back to figure out why and saw it happening.

Right now my bottleneck is the orbs to level up equipment, all my gear is 20/30, nothing is higher, and I notice I do jackshit for damage compared to people just a level or two above me in team battles.

Are you aware that you can use alchemy on SR gear you are not using? You can cash them in to get those orbs to increase SR gear star level. I felt like gold and hammers to upgrade them were more scarce

Oh yeah, the SR gear stars aren't an issue, but a lot of my main squad (like Ledin) are decked out in mostly SSRs.

The fact that I'm entirely unable to auto 60 Dark with blessing makes me very angry. Even with making a move first turn I can't.

I'm able to auto it with Ledin/Elwin/Cherie/Leon/Tiaris. I spent most of my burgers on that today and got my first Blue Star and a few other things.

Freya keeps getting cursed and swarmed. I really want to keep saving for Trails, but maybe I need to attempt to get Ledin. Even though these are complete bait banners.

I've almost done all level 60 dailies, Thunder Dragon I'm a long way off on, but Rocky 60 is really awful. I have Alte; maybe I need him for this? Cuttlefish and the ATK Break Assassins are the most annoying normal enemy types.

I also haven't been able to beat Rocky 60 yet. I feel like the map is made for Altemuller, but I don't have him.

I decided to pull for Rachel with the hope of isolating Liana on her upcoming banner. I got Landius instead on the fifth multi. A little disappointing, but his kit is pretty interesting now that I look at it.

Any ranged unit that can cross terrain easily and won't be one shot by muscle blast has no problem with Rocky. Unfortunately most people that means Bozel or bust, but any archer with Sky Archers available to them can do good work too.

You can use Altemuller of course but I didn't and he's one of my easiest 60s actually.

Put 6 10 pulls on the Elwin + Ledin banner. Didn't get them (it's not even a focus to be fair-- some reason I thought it was supposed to be) but I got a Feraquea I guess that's cool. I'll hold the rest for Trails.

I was able to pick up Ledin, which was great for a non-focus banner where I was a lot less interested in Elwin.

It's a can't lose banner, imo, Elwin shreds and Ledin can't die.

Elwin is necessary for several other character's bonding too. And it doesn't hurt that he wrecks the thunder dragon

Yeah I basically just wanted the two for Thunder Dragon and bond missions. I don't see myself ever using them for anything else. Not a big fan of the characters.

I do have a decent Kirikaze + Angelina + Bernhardt though so I think when I actually bother with Thunder Dragon again I should have a chance once I experiment with teamcomps a bit.

Elwin on that route is funny just for the absurdity of it I'll admit. But I guess it's more I like other characters more than thinking they're bad or anything.

Fliers

Demon
Aquatic

Infantry
Lancer

Cleric

Putting spaces where I remember for sure there was a difference. It is by class but shaky on exact order. We had conflicting reports on Archer vs Mage but I've always had archers go first.

Ties are broken by order placed on the map

Blah, Archers first huh. The biggest issue is the AI loves to suicide Luna, but I don't know if I can solve that cleverly if she always leads. Plus Liana will go last and thus never get to heal anyone or cure their debuffs prior to them attacking.

Well guys, after taking Luna to 6* and having her confess her love to me I wasnt really feeling the game any more after I completed my goal.

Then I pulled 150 times for a Ledin and got one dupe Elwin

So I figure thats peobably a good place to cut it off. Better to leave now and remember the fun times while the grind is still not terrible.

Maybe Ill come back if you could ever sweep dailies.

Yeah I would've considered quitting if I had a compulsion to do the daily grind. As is most days I've just been doing dragon and sweeping Time Rift. Hurts my overall progression but whatever. Gear is gonna be the biggest absolute bottleneck I think since it's RNG based so I figure if I keep on top of that I give up less ground. Still like the gameplay of story + time rift though but yeah the daily stuff really needs work late game.
