I've gotten four SSR bows, and they've all been Extreme Magic Bows. And I guess that's supposed to be one of the rare ones. It feels like you're weighted to get dupes.

I decided to go back into this banner since Lana doesn't have another banner in the foreseeable future. I managed to get her on the second multi. Lana and Shelfaniel in four pulls. Pretty nice

I need epic spirits so badly I really regret the handful of weapon pulls I did early on. Maybe I'm just lucky with drops but I feel like my supply of SSR gear that's pretty good and worthy of leveling far exceeds the number of spirits to level them. So I don't recommend ever purchasing SSR gear from the shop.

Just beat the 65 Ice Dragon. Not sure why I took so long to bother to try it. Pretty sure I could've beat that weeks ago. I blame the rampant "you must use Leon" talk this game has. Used Lana Bozel Luna (Pegasus not archer-- was mostly using her for the princess buff + help kill sorceresses) Liana Tiaris and moshed him pretty easy

I got impatient + didnt have a SSR mage of any kind, so I pulled and got Lana.

Finally, a use for my mage stuff.

Also man the auto battle AI in the Arena is shockingly bad.

I just watched my team lose a fight because my Ledin, Lana, and Tiaris all basic attacked an enemy Bernhardt instead of using Divine Guard, using literally any ability, or healing anybody, respectively.

You know, I tried it today and lost two matches I swore I'd win and it felt like my AI got dumber or something than usual.

Ok, so it's not just me?

My Ledin used to move forward and use Divine Guard first turn, but I've had multiple battles in a row where he inexplicably doesn't use it until turns 3 or 4, which is entirely too late.

I personally enjoy my AI Narm using her extra move to accomplish nothing except getting her into skill range

I enjoy when my Varna uses Aim so that she can stay as far away from enemies, but close enough to give her +AoE Damage passive buff to allies who have no AoE powers.

Thunder I'm still on 50. (to be fair I'm going to try 55 today and can probably do it)

Part of it is the fact that there aren't many good units that hit his weaknesses. Especially since I don't have Elwin and have built Bernhardt as a Tank.

I've done 60 Fire, Dark, and Thunder. 55 Ice, but that should change soon with Lana. I haven't bothered trying any of the 65 dragons yet.

Turns out the strategy of just having people chill out of range when they are targeted is pretty effective.

Also retaliates seem to do full damage from melee. My flyer tank alta did a decent job at it

Hey that actually wasn't very bad at all. Spared myself the 800 and 1000 spins, got the Runestone and Liana. SSR accessory would be nice but not 800 nice. Certainly not 1800 nice because those 10 rare crafters hammers are still sitting there.

Got the rune from the 500 gem draw, so that was relatively fortunate. 1500 for a rune and random stuff is a decent deal

I rolled 4 times and got 3 bronze prizes and the 3 tickets, which nearly breaks even anyway. Doubt I'll roll more, I don't like the skin and the gold prizes are nice but not worth it to go for.

I swear the danger zone indicator in this game just lies to you sometimes. It was one on one with me trying to cheese out a win by kiting an enemy with Ranger Luna, and it just moved to a square that wasn't marked as red before its turn.

And yes, moving changes what squares are available, which is why I checked whether the square I moved to was red prior to ending my move.

Cavalry and water units have abilities that let them move further, or maybe they had the Assassin ability that treats all terrain as plains?

Some of these Time Rift feats are getting on my nerves. There's one where you have to avoid killing Lana (I think?) and I've never seen her on that map and it doesn't count as not killing her. Another one where you have to avoid killing Cherie, which would be easy enough except the NPC Leon will stop two squares away from clearing the level to double back and kill her instead.

For the Lana one you need to put off clearing the stage till she appears

For the Cherie one you need to block her from moving up as much as you can with your units. Attacks that slow like Blizzard or Snare help (or your girl Narm's passive!!) as well as physically blocking her spaces that move her max distance to make her move slower. Leon will only double back to kill her if she's in his threatened area

You could always give Narm melee troops too. It's pretty hard for a hero alone to one shot a set of troops + a hero because of how combat mechanics work (your hero makes 20 "attacks" when they attack, and troops take overflow damage, so basically 1/20 your hero's damage needs to one shot a troop otherwise you can't even get to the main unit)

Estelle and Joshua are on the first banner. Leonhardt/Loewe and Renne are on the second banner. Kloe is a free mission (points?) SR for the first half of the event and Olivier is free for the second half.

From what I understand, Estelle is an only okay tank, Renne is an only okay ST mage, Kloe is a good healer, Olivier is a great all-purpose support, Joshua is a great PVP AoE character, and Leonhardt is a mega busted PVP AoE character.

In my case I think I should be able to pick all of them up anyway.

Her thing is that her guard is on her talent and expands each time she deals damage, which also gives her a Atk/Def buff in addition to that (possibly stacking with other buffs, similar to Sonya's). She's also super-heavily based on her buff that increases her damage and adds 10% of her Atk to her Def, with every skill of hers turning it on for 2 rounds.
Her downside is that despite her ridiculous Def that's even higher than Vargas, she has no damage reduction except Phalanx.
Her upside is that she has a skill that gives her a full heal, debuff cleanse, and makes her immune to debuffs for 2 rounds.

I don't even like the skins honestly. I'd be vaguely tempted to get Varna's at normal price just because I use Varna so it'd be cool to have a skin, and hers is the best easily, but I kinda just prefer normal Varna anyway.

Hell I'd probably be more tempted by Varna with pants.

My progress after 60 is pretty slow. I've done half the Anikis at 60 and the others only at 55. I've only just done Dark Dragon at 60, Ice and Fire at 55, and Thunder still lagging at 50. Haven't tried any of the Eternal Temples yet. Level 65 (and I think even some level 70 content is added?) still seems so far out of reach, considering how marginal my clears are, even though upgrading is pretty slow going.

Admittedly having all lvl50 equipment on my main team would help. I'm still short on hammers more than anything. But it's a struggle.

If you're short on hammers find the highest level dragon you can auto and dump some burgers into it. You get quite a lot of hammers even from nondaily clears

My progress has slowed down a lot too. It's mostly cause I stopped doing most of the dailies cause the grind gets to me. Only make a point to do the dragon now cause equipment feels like my biggest bottleneck. I know Anikis are worth it but I miss em a lot.

Anyone have tips or a guide on how to improve your team?

Unfortunately I don't have much beyond the obvious. Usually it's either gear level or class mastery that are issues. You should mostly have level 50 upgrades and level 40 gear for your most important equipment. Maybe also bond levels. Try to aim for maxing your main team's first three bond levels.

You probably know all of this though.

Your main team is, what, Ledin Lana Luna Tiaris Cherie? That team's pretty much optimal, and you even have Ullr's, so I don't think there's anything you could do there.
