I'd gotten a Lana after 30 tickets when beginning with 80, so needless to say I was pretty relieved to see Estelle show up. Getting both of them with literally my last two tickets is certainly something though!

Most of them have been pretty precise. Unfortunately I don't remember the exact sequence I took for that one, but I think I had Kloe drop Blizzard and Joshua Phantom Raid and retreat first turn to leave nearly everyone out of range, then shifted right on the next turn to keep the ogres from dogpiling Estelle, then was able to pick them off and get back into guard range of Angelica on turn 5.

I got Jugler on the first ten pull from this banner. I really wanted Zerida instead. Afterwards, I decided to pull on the trails banner since that took less than expected. Got a Listell on the first one, so I think I'm set for now

Did they just jump the difficulty of the level 60 training school fights? Because all of a sudden my two strongest calvalry units just get squashed now against the infantry ones when they never did before.

Finally time to grind this event, I guess. I've leveled up a full bonus team that can do one of the level 55 missions, if only barely. Ledin, Altemuller, Almeda, Hein, Lance are my only bonus characters, but fortunately they are decent, even when none of them are fully classed up. Still means I'll have to do the same stage about 60 times.

I'm not quite sure I get the logic behind not making the new characters give bonuses, though.

I've been slowly grinding the level 55 maps with five bonus units also. Almeda, Elwin, Ledin, Landius, and Leon. I tried a couple of those challenge maps, and got crushed. I'm not sure if I will be able to beat many of them while the event is up.

I threw some more tickets at the Trails banner, and picked up Joshua. Finally, a character that can use my Extreme Magic Bow

There are a few challenge stages in the Trails event that expires today that gives them. You can otherwise get them from the challenge events in the secret realms. Those have no expiration on them.

I don't have her, but she seems pretty strong. Her talent is really good - it boosts her damage and heals/cleanses allies. I think you have to carry Landius or Mathew to faction buff her which could be inconvenient. This tier list rates her pretty highly for PVE

The new couples banner is very profitable, since it gives you a lot of protection from spooks or dupes, and it also can let you double up from a new SSR.

That and more. Here's how it works. You get a token whenever you roll an SSR. You can exchange a token + 50 of one of the 6 SSR character shards in exchange for 60 of their matching SSR character shards. Ostensibly, this means if you, say, have Liana and want Elwin, but you hit Liana, you'll get the 50 Liana shards + token and can immediately make that exchange.

What's good, though, is that you can farm up the 50 shards from gates of fate, so all you actually need to do is roll SSRs. In my case, I rolled Elwin, who I didn't have, but I also had spare Lana shards, so I was immediately able to turn the token + those shards into a new Leon. So my one SSR got doubled.

You might. I think Liana is simply the strongest hero. She's busted for all maps. I would take the opportunity if you have enough tickets, unless perhaps a focus banner is coming up for her.

I think Liana is less necessary the better your other units are. She's good for cheesing stuff you can't do normally but I think if you're well set on other stuff you can manage without her.

Maybe not necessary, but she makes everything easier. She's basically Waver.

Kinda but I'd say there is more of a premium on team slots in this game and she isn't necessarily auto slot if you have alternative healers.

Tiaris is probably better for content when you're not trying to be cute and cheese it somehow.

I do think Liana is best healer overall but not must have. Sophia has some uses too even if you don't have Tiaris. Course you can run 2 healers for some stuff too.

For anyone who felt like this game took too much time to play, the new secret realm sweeps are nice. Now at minimum you can do most daily missions instantly, so spending 15 minutes on the game in a day and still getting your daily crystals is possible.

It's absolutely nice that I can do my dailies so much more quickly now, but it has not entirely fixed my waning interest in progressing. Whether it's story, time rift, or high level secret realms, I'm just not moving ahead. I'm mostly just sweeping time rifts for more class upgrades (which are absolutely miserable still).

Same, I quit my last guild for that reason. I liked that they were running lvl 50s guild battle so I could do it on auto. Need to find another one, but I don't want to spend a lot of time daily on guild stuff.

I've been autobattling guild wars. Basically doing the bare minimum to remain in the guild.
