Sometimes, the nicest person in the story gets pushed to the limit of what they can take... and the results are not pretty.

The sweeter, gentler, more polite, more peaceful, and overall nicer a character is, the worse it will be for whomever is in the vicinity when they're subject to one round too many of torment and disrespect. What was once a sweet and nice individual suddenly snaps and becomes something far worse than the Big Bad could have expected.

The description of the trope isn't what I thought it was going to be (at least not entirely; I was expecting this to be or at least include characters who put on a nice facade but are actually evil all along) in which case I had some ideas (mainly thanks to Frozen making this a staple to the point of cliche in recent media) so I have to look at the list.

And of course Tropes is down for just me right now.
