You'd think we lived in a 100 year old house lol I do think it's more common than not to have sinks dispense hot water nearly instantly though. Water that is too hot will make you hurry so your hands won't get as clean, and water that's too cold won't dissolve oil or grease as well. GoJo with pumice followed by cold water and hand soap if I've been working on cars.
