So I borrowed the first few Black Clover manga volumes and started reading them. Nothing special so far, but it's pretty fun. I can see why people call it a ripoff of some other shonen works (Black Bull is pretty much a crazier pre-timeskip Fairy Tail), but I wouldn't say that it is just yet.

That GGO episode was great, even though it felt like they held back on the animation to save it for the big battles in later episodes.

The tripwire gag at the beginning was hilarious.

And she's back to normal. This dork is just too good. Meanwhile, LLENN goes hardcore parkour on this poor sap.



Next episode looks like it'll be a riot, both figuratively and literally. Pito will definitely have tons of fun to make up for her boredom this episode, that's for sure.

making companies more transparent about the data they collect and more restricted in what they can do with it without good reason is good though. And I don't really have any sympathy for any sites that have issues scrambling to get this settled when it's been upcoming for years now

but I watched the show it's from earlier today. It's, uh.. definitely something. without a doubt one of the "worst" anime I have ever seen, in the sense that it at no point resembles a story in any way, nor does it really have characters either. But despite this it manages to be sort of entertaining in this "how was this ever actually made and what madman approved it" way. It's a very surreal experience to see something that doesn't fail, simply because it never even tried in the first place

it's only a single 40 minute OVA (of which you can probably skip the last 6-7 minutes since it's an interview with some of the staff, unsubbed, talking really quietly with a bunch of white noise so you can't hear anything) so I totally recommend finding a few unsuspecting friends who have never heard of it before and groupwatching it with them
