Strange that a person who complains about replies as being evidence of harassment would go out of his way to antagonize the person he claims is harassing him not even a day after his initial complaint. It's almost like the whole thing was hokum designed to exploit the moderation system to harass a poster he dislikes.

More importantly, the left's terrible tendencies are among the reasons why I limit my affiliation with them. And, of course, ideologically I tend to fall right around the middle anyway.

Seems like an opinion he would have held way before the topic especially since neither his grief nor the actual topic at hand had anything to do with it

You spoken to him previously and he didn't seem racist then his dad died, a person confronted him about some random shit and he responded inappropriately. It rather obviously came from grief, people who have close family die on them are not in a good emotional or mental state.

It's hardly a tough case to crack, it's only troubling if you insist he must be racist to attack somebody who's black.

"Loved" is a pretty strong word. Plus the board has always been pretty selective in its outrage. For starters, death threats only seem to count when aimed at a handful of "protected" posters. Arctic had either threatened or wished death upon a number of posters prior to the major blow-ups, but it was kinda brushed aside. Kana suggested having me killed once, but everybody's still okay with her as well. Hell, when Wasteland expressed a desire to see me dead, the newly-modded Melon Master went into the topic and made a joke about it instead of modding it. But, you know, inconsistent standards (and certain people willing to continually voice outrage, even when it's somewhat hypocritical)
