If we're getting him for only 50-60 games a year then we're saddled with a pretty bad contract.

They can probably manage his minutes better than the clippers have. Pistons are a legit playoff team now I think.

At his absolute peak he was averaging roughly 24 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists.

Among active players, he currently ranks 9th in WS/48 among qualified players.

He's had a pretty good career.

I feel like Aaron Gordon is basically a younger Blake Griffin without the injuries. Not as talented yet but has age on his side

Not nearly the passer nor as efficient scoring (lower FT rate, too). Can't comment too much on his defense.

He's injured a lot but tbh there's just so much talent swimming in the league right now. I swear every year there's always talks about the next Michael Jordan or LeBron

I wonder if the Pistons just let Blake play Point Forward until Reggie comes back, should be able to at the very least help facilitate the offense

Pistons seem like they should contend for the playoffs consistently now. They're probably not even dead this year, given the bottom of the east.

basically, the trade is double-edged for both teams, but a pretty decent move for everyone to make. I like the Clippers side more. I think Blake will look good up front but we'll see in a year if people are feeling positive about it.

I think it's obvious what Ballmer is doing: He's moving the team to Seattle so they can have a team there again. (Ballmer's main residence is still Hunts Point, Washington)

Plus Ballmer was born in Detroit so he also did his birthplace a favor. Los Angeles doesn't really need two NBA teams.

Liar liar pants on fire Steve! Maybe he did "try" to make the Clippers work in L.A. after all they did do that snatch DeAndre from Mark deal.

But now after CP left and their playoff chances are slim, I think he's finally come to his senses now and is seizing the moment to move the team. That Inglewood deal was just a distraction. No one but the most die hard Clippers fans will be bitter about him moving the team. He'll probably want to retire the Clippers brand and start using Sonics or Supersonics again too.

You could even say he was trolling the fan base with that awful logo redesign. Subconsciously or intentionally he made the Clippers more of a joke in LA so they'll have more excuses to move to Seattle.

His defense isn't that good. He gets burnt a lot thanks to overly-aggressive play. It's why advanced defensive metrics never liked him (rating him about the same as the guy he replaced, KCP).

His ISO defense is all I care about, because if he forces the guy he's on to pass it away, that opens up Russ and George to get into passing lanes and create problems.

the shooter would be better off as the cornerstone of the second team. Lou would be amazing spear heading that and helping out with the starters as a great 6-man.
